Well I will take it by the end of the new week we will see new items on Dev. That's possibly the latest. What we will get....mmmmmmm. Either the reskins of "old" NATO gear and vehicles. With new weapons scheduled for the second release and finally the new Vehicles last. With said campaign being the final. Unless its all rolled out in one go. But i think it will go in stages. With the best for last. What I don't get they say . We will get 13 new weapons in total but some weapons and clothing not shown? If you count the items on the table its 13?

I wonder what multi-player weapons and uniforms haven't been reveled.

Yeah if you watch teh Dev diary it used as a background graphic element in titles. I thought they had square camo. Hex camo, MTP camo. CTRG camo so now triangle camo? But the CTRG camo is triangly unless they going digi camo but with triangles and not square pixels.

But thats only because at that stage the AR was a proven system. Now the Spec ops are all into HK416's and 7. As multicam now is the go to guy as it just works so well. We have already two SMGs and 3 pistols. None are Full auto...the pistols. I meant introducing something not present that we don't need mods for. I just meant they could introduce something we could use that isn't seen in vanilla that is. But lets be honest sure people wanted new weapons. But what real gameplay value are you going to get from a SMG or a Makarov? Why isnt there a swanky new fully auto Glock for some Spec ops guys? People paid what they-BIS-wanted they entitled to voice their opinions. I think its bad to do a re-skin of CSAT and not have a new uniform which if you look CSAT is now Asian from a different country with different production firms. Its plausible they share the same indoctrination but not the same uniforms under CSAT. A new Vest would have also broken the copy and pasted feeling. Why no new armed boat(s)? Is islands surrounded by a lot of water. Or civies. Again a ghosttown... I mean island. But if you listen to what Jay Crowe said; Apex is about the fictionalization of all their efforts and Tanoa is the crown jewel. I think they could have been more ambitious. They aimed to make the best island ever. I was hoping for the best content with a new setting/ island ever. There could have also been a CSAT campaign. We all remember Red Hammer. For the part its good but it could be great.

The official word on the street is there is nothing concrete planned. I believe it was some tweet.. But I did read it myself. That was before Apex info was released. I am sure another expansion in a years time of just content would go down well. But the reality is perhaps now they will be pulled off Arma 3 for newer things. I think the best guy to ask is Marek Spanel-the BIS top dog. Perhaps a Kickstarter with a cash now for a product in a years time would show them we serious. COD is quite LULz. Sure a knife fight with an alerted enemy is some bad Steven Seagull fight on a train movie shit. But Knife training is still taught and SEALs take knives in. Even the US marines have the Ka-Bar. The current AI system in Arma 3 doesn't allow for sneaking up close to a unit and sticking a blade through his eye socket into the brain or stabbing an opponent through the jugular and windpipe. There is no coming back from that. That's if they caught unawares. Well officially you can ask BIS. Unofficially between you and me you can get a sex change and maybe get pregnant...but yeah. Again more chance of that happening then an official BIS Navy. Either learn modeling fast and make some assets. Steep learning curve there. Or pay some modders. Because as far as Apex version 2.0 after Apex there is no more going to happen.

Remember to some AI is something they wish for. Others bigger and more weapons. For him he wants stealth kills. His wishes are no worse or better then ours. Its also what the community has wanted for a while an option to get in close under darkness and a knife to the windpipe or through the lung into the heart.

And yes I like the new weapons with the exception of the 1980s AKs and RPG-7. That could have at least been updated with Zenitco rails. But the reskins. Lack of a new independent faction. No Boats No CSAT campaign. I don't get it.

You want my honest advice. Pay a modder who does shit hot 3D modeling to make some row boats. You likely have more chance of falling pregnant then getting new boats from BIS. Even though I am sure we would have payed more for Apex and been given this. And I am sorry to be frank but thats the only way it will happen.
