Any news on when 0.9.7 will be released? I see that it's completed on the tracker and I'm really looking forward to the insurgency module. -
Im with the 3rd Infantry division and a few of my guys have been asking me to schedule a tvt with another group. So, if anyone is interested in scheduling a tvt please pm me and we can setup a time and date.

The whole purpose of sling loading is for logistics and we can't even lift a Hunter with it? Maybe the Huron can lift it, but I really don't want to pay $15 for two futuristic helicopters when I could use a mod for a present day Chinook. But back to the topic at hand, Why can't we lift a Hunter with a Mohawk? The chopper is basically the futuristic version of a CH53 which can lift alot... But that's just my $0.02

Arma 2's logs were great, you could see just about everything that happened on the server through them. If I remember correctly, at one point in the developement, the logs for Arma 3 were just as informative. Whenever a member in my community gets kicked while trying to join the server, we have a hell of a time trying to figure out what mod he is missing or isn't up to date. It would be much simpler if the server logs included it. Also, is it normal that my Arma 3 Master log doesn't report anything?

Great thing about arma 2 was that everyone had the same core mods, and those were the only ones that missions were distributed with. But for some reason Every mission that someone releases in Arma 3, requires 2gb of mods that nobody has...

The dust effects have always been on Altis and Stratis. A3MP maps, however, don't have dust effects...At All. -

The config file for the helicopters is copy and pasted from ArmA 2 and modified so that it works in ArmA 3. The problem with that, is that I can't get the sound working. I will still work on getting this squared away, but now it's going to take longer. I apologize for the inconvenience. I will also try and re-work the HUD/MFD. But that is on the back burner right now. -

There are obviously still a few issues with the helicopters. I was just wondering if you guys could shed some light as to what you guys think the biggest problems are (excluding the issue with the huey and venom). -

I don't have access to the HAFM private bikey. So verified signatures wouldn't have worked. Which would've created a problem. -

I was growing tired of people continuously talking about how they don't work, so I edited the config file to stop the helicopters from sliding around. You can download the fix here The only issue I ran into, is that the Huey and Venom don't work properly with the new settings. I wouldn't recommend using them until I/Someone gets them properly fixed. Working Helicopters: Chinook Blackhawks Appache Viper Disclaimer: I do not take credit for this mod. All I did was edit the config file and make new keys/signatures. -

With the xMed modules that you have to place in the editor it is possible to have a "Full Revive" at base. I'm not sure if it is working 100% right now, but there is the option in one of the modules to enable full revive when near a pre-defined object. I will test this out later if nobody else has a definite answer. -

attachitem isn't a command. You would have to use to get it in your inventory: this addWeapon "x39_earplug"; As for actually spawning with them in...I haven't tried that. But this code should be a good start (it needs some editing, being it is from a ArmA 2 MOD ACE). [player] execFSM "x\ace\addons\sys_goggles\use_earplug.fsm"; I will take a look at this code and try to modify it when I get home later tonight. -

I put together a simple tutorial a while ago on how to use xMedSys because the video on the armaholic.com website was in German (I don't speak German). Hopefully this will clear things up and help expand the reaches of this MOD. -
I think it would be cool if we could get an animation for talking into a radio, and holding a radio when changing the settings on it. Just food for thought.

On my Realism Unit's servers, we have been getting these strange errors in the .RPT files. I haven't been able to figure out exactly what is causing them and the skype channel seems to be a dead end because people just sit in it and don't do anything productive. Here is the .RPT file with the strange errors. (They haven't shown up until the most recent update of ArmA 3) Unsupported Language: Warnings/Load Handler Object Not Found: Server Specs: 1 x Intel QuadCore E3 1270 3.4 Ghz 16GB RAM SATA 500 GB Hard Drive Upload Speed: ~ 600 Mbps - (not 100% accurate taken off speedtest.net) Download Speed: ~ 600 Mbps - (not 100% accurate taken off speedtest.net) ---------- Post added at 05:19 ---------- Previous post was at 04:04 ---------- ^^The first question I have is, Why does it keep telling me "Player Without Identity" The second Question would be are the errors in the second .rpt just related to the mission being played? The third question would be, why is the 3rd .rpt file telling me that the Objects aren't found? The first two were taken off the same server/same mission The third one was off of a different server, different mission

Yeah, I don't think it's possible (I've been editing for years, and never heard of anything like that). The best way to do it is to put in the units at the end.

Server refuses to start up with any non A3MP maps

I can't truly help you out too much unless you include your .RPT file for the server. In your command line, make sure you have both CLafghan and A3MP, and whatever other mods those certain maps require,
