Player looking for squad (not for squads to post looking for players!)

About me: Latvia, 26 years old. GMT+2. Playing airsoft IRL for 3 years, know bits of stuff there and here. Naturally, I speak with some russki accent. Experience: ArmA2 600h+, ArmA3 981h. Played ArmA series for over 8 years in total. Been in many units, very well experienced in the following roles: Squad Leader 2IC Fireteam Leader Marksman Medic MG Reconnaissance JTAC/Radioman Zeus Mostly I prefer to be in either reconnaissance positions or Zeus positions, as I love to make various missions from realism types up to spray and pray types. Usually I tend to go hardcore-ish when I establish myself as a Zeus in the unit. That means, I create a MCC base with limited resources. Depending on the outcome of each mission, the MCC will either be upgraded or not. Same goes for the vehicles and other equipment. To make players do thoughtful decisions. I also am pretty experienced in, as it has been told before, other roles. Most experienced ones are Medic and Recon. Other than that, it's also possible to become an instructor. Looking for: A EU-based unit, hopefully the one that falls into GMT+2 or around that time zone criteria. I also prefer US-themed units. -

Name: Vlad; Age: 25; Time Zone: GMT +2; Subject: Looking for Milsim/Semi-Milsim unit, preferably europe-based. Experience: I have 875 hours on ArmA3 and 260 recorder hours on ArmA 2. Was a part of many units in the past that eventually disbanded. I am well experienced in TL, SL roles as well as Corpsman, Marksman, Reconnaissance (love this stuff), and most importantly -Mission making-. I love zeusing missions, improvising on a fly but keeping to realism standards of the mission, sometimes making missions full of action. I'm looking to be a mission maker at most, if not, then reconnaissance. Also I'm interested in West-themed units (US for example). Vlad out. -

Age: 24 Steam ID: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198055822324/ ArmA3 hours spent: 836 ArmA2 hours spent: 239 + nearly same unrecorded by steam. Region: GMT+2 Available: After 18:00 GMT+0 / 20:00 GMT+2 I am a very well experienced arma player. I've been in many units and thus I have a large amount of experience in various aspects. Last six months in one particular unit I have spent mainly as a Zeus so I am quite advanced in zeus mission making and in arma mission editor as well. I primary look for a unit who would like to take a mission maker under its wing. And only secondly I look to fulfill either a FTL/SL/2IC or Medic role. As for mission making itself. I prefer to spend plenty of time to plan things out and reach out for realism and at the same time let the players to have fun as well, it is a game after all. That would be all. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me and ask them right away! V out. -

Name: Vlad Age: 23 Time Zone: GMT +2, Latvia Available: All days, except for Friday (18:00-23:30); Game experience: I've played a lot of military shooters. CoD series, Battlefield series, Operation Flashpoint, ArmA: Armed Assault, ArmA 2, ArmA 3. I played ArmA 2 for nearly two years. That's with ACE/ACRE modifications. Strengths: I'm very well experienced as a combat medic (corpsman), FTL, Marksman, spotter and sniper. Previously preferred to work only in fireteams, as a medic or a rifleman, but switched over to a more remote-ish style, as a recon team member. I do put teamwork as a top priority and I am focused more on giving out exact intel over AO&Hostiles whereabouts, as well as providing covering fire for those who are on a hot spot. Weaknesses: My english is not native, so while I can do small errors here and there, while typing, my actual spelling/pronounce sometimes may be harsh. May not work effectively as a part of a fireteam (e.g rifleman) due to some social issues, that's why I prefer lately to be either a Marksman/Spotter/Sniper aka Recon team member. I'm into: I'm looking for an organized milsim unit or semi-milsim unit. As well as realistic (as much as possible) experience during operations, to dive into military immersion and not only gain joy from it but also provide it to others, hopefully. Additional skills: Able to operate a helicopter. Able to drive a light/medium vehicle. Very good at mission making in Zeus. P.S - Vanished from internet for a while due to me being quite occupied at work. Back now! -

I had problems with FPS on my old i3 PC. Recently I switched on i5, gtx650 2gb, 8gb ddr3. And I have only slight fps drop on public servers, while in unit server, I had stable 30-40+ fps. I'd say, it's a combined issue of servers and hardware compability.

Good afternoon. I'm 22 years old from Latvia. I've played ArmA 2 for two years, mostly with ACE and ACRE mods on. Have been in two clans for a while, and fulfilled roles of a combat medic, marksman, sniper/spotter, FTL and a bit of a piloting helicopters. Currently, i'm looking for a EU clan. My time here is GMT+2 (+1 due to a daylight thingie). And I'm available mostly at the evening times, except for Thursday and Tuesday. -

Hello! I'm looking for a milsim platoon or division to join in, which is hopefully based around GMT+1/2 zone. Europe, of course. My interest lies mostly in Coop gameplay as I find PvP a bit clumsy in ArmA 2 due to it's game mechanics. A little about myself: Experienced ArmA 2 veteran with a one year straight of active service in a single division. I've fulfilled various roles over that period of time: Marksman Sniper Medic Fireteam leader. However, I'm more interested in a Marksman/Sniper yet quite open for the other available roles. I also have quite decent experience in mission making. What I'm looking for? A friendly community with either soft or hardcore military simulation that stands for either US forces or British. Not a huge fan of Russian/Nato forces. Send me a PM to figure out things! -
Will-my-pc-run-Arma3? What cpu/gpu to get? What settings? What system specifications?

Greetings, everyone! I'd like to know, if I'm fine to run ArmA 3 with this PC rig of mine. CPU - Intel Core i3 540 2 Cores and 4 Threads. Motherboard - MSI H55M-P31(MS-7636) DDR3, 7GB. NB frequency 2128.2 MHz DRAM Frequency 665.1MHz NVIDIA GeForce GTX650, 2GB. ---------------- Please, do tell me and can you recommend me, what things I should do to improve my perfomance? I usually get ~15-20FPS in Multiplayer. Most of the servers =/ -
Yes, it's jumps between 36 and ~48. Sometimes higher, sometimes a tiny bit lower. It's just a play with the game settings and launch parameters + amount of AI and particles during the mission.

Hello, everyone. Can please anyone tell me, is this even possible to run ArmA 3 with decent FPS while I have following settings: CPU: i3 540 with 2 cores and 4 threads. (3.07GHz) RAM: DDR3 7GB with NB frequency of 2128MHz VideoCard: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 2GB Motherboard: MSI H55M-P31 (MS-7636) In SP, game runs fine on High settings yet like with the others, in MP I have stable 15-18FPS, which is really frustrating. >__>
