  1. United We Stand is a Single player Campaign trying to bridge the valley between cinematic and realistic gamers. This set of missions is meant to be difficult yet fun, with the flow of the Bohemia Campaign. United We Stand: You play are Sergeant Archer an experienced Demolitions Expert and Engineer who is deployed to Fort Ethos in Zargabad. Zargabad is currently under civil unrest as the Vice President of Afghanistan Saaed Akram continues to fund his luxurious lifestyle at the expense of the local population. Taliban forces are using this as excuse to recruit and cause harm to the locals. Parts of the city are now heavily influenced by the Taliban and its NATO'S task to suppress and extinguish any power the Taliban have over Zargabad. Mod Dependencies: CAF_AG: CAF_AGGRESSORS @A3MP: ARMA3 MAP PACK How to Install: Go to your root folder "Steamapps" and in the ARMA 3 directory create a folder called "Campaigns"(If you haven't already got one) and place the United We Stand folder inside it. Load up your game and it should appear in your Campaign list in the game.   4. The MANW stipulates no mods can be used.. so its back to Altis we go! 1st mission is ready for voicing.
  5. Thanks! Please spread the word! The more people who know about this = the better chance of people playing it on youtube giving me examples to pitch to voice actors. I want to get a bigger cast for this one to really bring a better sense of immersion for the player. The next one will be longer for sure! (First mission is already in the final stages) The story has already been written and is going to include Stealth and Recon elements and some nice combined arms from Spectre-1 and Viper! Currently experimenting with CAS elements ( I was the pilot for the choppers in this campaign and really want to utilize it again)
  6. That typo will be sorted soon. Have to render the video again(Blaaaaaaag). The problem with taking out the voices is the missions lose context since they were designed around voice. Noticed this during external testing. I have a Co op mission in the works but ATM it's low priority with MANW around the corner. Thanks for playing

The thing is about using mods is if they are changed after release (unit classnames for example) the entire mission will break and working in a hospital only permits a certain amount of time on arma! :( As for the ending: I couldn't agree more that it feels it should have a few more BUT as this was going to be a MANW submission before I read the terms (NO MODS) I gave it a different spin. This being that you have now just been introduced the characters that will be appearing in my MANW submission. Im from northern england and it understands me :butbut: If you spend a while reading the text in the microsoft voice commands it gets noticeably better each time! I think I did about 4 exercises. I found all my actors on here: http://voiceactingalliance.com/ Its a great website and a VERY valuable asset if you are looking for actors. Be honest and tell them you are doing this for non profit and the good ones always take you up regardless. Thank you for playing! ---------- Post added at 19:37 ---------- Previous post was at 19:30 ---------- The thing is with some of these functions especially the talking ones is that they just aren't built for multiplayer. This is due to a term i believe is called "Locality". This basically means the function will only run on the machine that is running the program. In a multiplayer game your computer isn't the local machine, it is the server. So only the host would hear the sound!(Take this with a pinch of salt.. I have 0% experience prior to the campaign in programming!)     Arma3 - AGGRESSORS

    HELP! I am creating a huge campaign voice actors, music. The whole shabang! The latest update 1.52 has changed classnames making my mission unreadable in the editor. Do you have a list of the old classnames so I can replace them in the sqm? I can't let all this work go to waste! Thanks in advance! EDIT: I really should have used my brain I have found the units in the sqm. Give me a few days an I'll put together a pictured classnames library for this mod. Its the least I could do to thank you guys for your hard work!
  10. I am going to look into the issue with the vehicles wheels.. I feel the problem is due to the hand brake being on. The physics engine behind the vehicle is quite complex and I'm sure they wouldn't cut corners with only allowing vehicle animations once the vehicle accelerates. With that being said.. I am not a programmer or anything close. Maybe this will involve editing a vehicles configuration by editing their physics parameters. It does seem like a lot of work to make the wheels work. It's a shame the capture function doesn't record the rest of the data considering the fire functions work to a point. The AI cannot understand corners for me and will do a 5 point turn to navigate around it haha. To any geniuses out there. HELP US SIMPLETONS
  11. Hey all I am looking for voice actors for my campaign that is in development. I am looking for matured voices with a half decent microphone as my music production skills can polish up the rest. This is going to be a 4 mission Campaign set on Zargabad. The main theme in the script and story is focused on friendship and trust within the squad (whitty banter with a hint of drama when sh*t gets real) This is being scripted to an accurate quality as I am trying to reach a goal post close to or even higher than the latest BIS campaign (Animations, Ambient AI conversations,realistic mission implementation thanks to ex squaddies) I am a music producer on the side and will be scoring the whole thing as well to add an edge to the campaign.   14. Hello UGAF: United Global Armed Force is a multi-national clan for ARMA 3. This clan is a highly motivated and mature group of individuals. We use tactics to overcome our foes. If you run and gun then sorry, this isnt the group for you. Some of the things we cover during operations: Formations Bounding Overwatch CQB Radio Chat (Using Acre) and other elements dependent on the squad path you decide to embark on at selection. We currently have our own teamspeak and Private games servers. We are currently active from 7pm Thursdays GMT and Sundays 6/7PM GMT.
