So, with the rather disappointing number of jets and planes released with ArmA III (discounting variants of the same jet leaves around 1), I was left wondering when the cargo plane, bearing resemblance to the C130J, and what looked like an F-22 Raptor shown in early screenshots, as well as the tactical guide I forked out the extra £15 for, were going to show their faces and make a glorious entrance in an update. I had previously thought that these were going to make their appearance in the first installment of the campaign; clearly I was wrong.
So, my question: When exactly are we going to see more jets and planes added? So I know BI are working on a new CSAT jet, however I have not heard anything with regards to the aircraft shown in the tactical guide that seems to be absent from the game itself. So I'm more of a helicopter pilot myself, however this does not mean I do not like to take jets for a spin as well as see them whizzing past my helicopter, engaging other aircraft and performing air strikes. I feel that, in an action and military simulator, there should be a greater aircraft presence alongside helicopters. Yes, it may be impractical to use a C130J as troop transport over such a small island, but that doesn't mean it isn't a hell of a lot of fun.
Share your thoughts and any information you have; I have not been keeping in check with the updates lately due to a high workload so I may have missed something.
