  1. Overlord is a Private Military Aviation Contracting Company that supports the operations of PMC ground Forces and other large clans. We have both private training servers and public servers to operate and train with. There are both Reserve and Active duty slots for pilots in mostly rotary and some Fixed Wing (F/a-18) slots. If interested please contact a member of the Aviation Division at our teamspeak channel to setup an interview. Teamspeak IP: 5.175.196.156 Some of our instructors are actual pilots from Civilian and Military Sectors
  2. It has been June since our last update here on these forums. We have taken the last several moths to completely revamp our clan for this year and find a new direction and we have grown even more because of it. Check us out at rmcc.tk today!
  3. The one thing that always gets me is the vulcan cannons sound so bad on this game... The F/a-18 would sound more like this... (feel free to use this audio clip if you want)... Its not as deep as an A-10... http://www.filedropper.com/playback http://www.filedropper.com/236992sounddogsgu
  4. Hey on the Apache, I had the range set to auto and once I messed with some keys it went to where you change the range with page up/down like you do your rifles.. what key toggles this feature? I much prefer the auto-range.
  5. Presently we have added on new servers and have expanded our recruiting efforts to focus heavily on specialties such as Medics and also looking for helicopter pilots and SAR crews. We are eager to fill these different roles and really would like for applicants. Please come to our website www.rmcc.tk and you can check us out and join our teamspeak. Also please feel free to register for our forums to obtain even more information!
  6. I have been watching for this to just test it out but since taskforce radio has been really working hard and honestly working pretty damn good I just don't know if there is any point to us (my group) switching to ACRE unless there is some seriously awesome features. It has taken a very very very long time
  7. You guys seem to know some stuff! lol.. I have a VPS server that run linux cintos 6. I currently host our teamspeak server on it (thats all)... I don't have a pretty interface for it I just use SSH and use guides online to install teamspeak.. It of course has a static ip address (IPV4 address)... What I just don't have the first flipping clue what to do is how to make use of that server to host our repo. I don't honestly even know where to begin A. where would I put the files? (I can connect with a ftp client) B. Once I put the files in whatever area or directory where do I point what ? Do I just use the ip address and some sort of /locationofthefile or what? C. Somewhere I saw online apache was needed so I installed that with the install command but again I saw it install but don't even know how to use it. lol I googled around but I just don't see instructions for just this simple (well apparently not so simple) task I want to to do.
  8. We are a lot more than that.. but didn't know if there was a place we could stick it just for the update purposes.. like some free resource I was unaware of... would you be able to host it on the game server? Like on our HFB or FPS players account?
  9. Major Shepard, This is the response we got from Hostmonster: looks like there is a connection being rejected here over the http. They could be right on the .conf could be rejecting that. That would not surprise me. The bigger issue being that there is not a way to go into that .conf on the shared servers to allow for that, that would have to be done on a VPS server. Do you have any recommendations on some free locations we could put our repo? I have a VPS separate that we host our teamspeak server on , but I only have a 1TB a month limit and not sure how much of that I would use up .. so a little iffy about that.
  10. Major_shepard, I am going to give Carl a hand here and jump in.. I am the owner of the server Carl is using and a member of the same clan. I spoke with the tech support by chat and ran this by them , the transcript of our convo is below. (9:52) [Derek] I think what would be best is to share this link with you. the user "just carl" is a friend who is asking the dev about an error we are getting. the devs response is here and I don't fully understand what he is asking (9:53) [Derek] http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?162236-ArmA3Sync-launcher-and-addons-synchronization-software-for-ArmA-3&p=2698798&viewfull=1#post2698798 (9:53) [Derek] the last post by the user "major shepard" is the developer and that is his question (9:55) [Tyrell T.] Its a shared hosting environment so our access to the servers configuration is limited but let me look into this a bit for you (9:56) [Derek] ok (9:59) [Tyrell T.] So the server does accept byte-range requests by default. IM having trouble identifying the issue your working through with this limited info though (9:59) [Derek] let me see if there is something on the previous page that will help (10:0) [Derek] http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?162236-ArmA3Sync-launcher-and-addons-synchronization-software-for-ArmA-3/page58 (10:0) [Derek] midway down you will see from justcarl at 21:28 a screen shot of the error we get (10:1) [Derek] basically this program, what we do is create a repository on our end... when we update the files.. that program checks what we have on the server side to the client side... (10:2) [Tyrell T.] how large is the repository? (10:3) [Tyrell T.] Im thinking that the download may just be timing out. (10:3) [Derek] in total 2 gigs (10:3) [Derek] but it seems to target a specific file (10:4) [Derek] in that software we can choose to download one specific file which will only be a MB perhaps and it times out... its always files that have been updated (10:4) [Derek] in their original format they are good (10:4) [Derek] Infact the work around we discovered is if I delete the file that is getting the error on my local machine then it will download the file... its a matter of replacing the file (10:6) [Tyrell T.] is it every mod or just on in specific> (10:7) [Derek] well we have a few mods but it happens to one of each... after they are updated (10:8) [Tyrell T.] This is a tough one to troubleshoot without the client side in front of me as well (10:9) [Derek] yeah i understand ... what I will probably do is summarize our conversation thus far to the dev and see if they come up with more specific questions that you guys may be able to answer (10:14) [Tyrell T.] OK so the byte-range requests is active I have confirmed this, the file permissions are accurate, the runtime is set to 5 min so I'm not sure what else to check (10:15) [Derek] Thank you for all your help I will work withe the devs and get back with you guys when we have more information or questions. take care!

If memory serves me he had to take it down because of unintended copyright infringement.

  13. RMCC Is now looking to take on other smaller PMC Clans. Those groups could maintain their name and become a subsidiary of our corporation. The teams would maintain their own training but would then participate into our missions. We have huge resources and systems that should appeal to any clan. Please reach out to us for more information.
