    I agree, a storyline is being thought of as per what the map will have, and this is my first MOD not only map so it won't be the most beautiful thing you have ever seen but I will most definatly try!

    I wasn't saying just Chernarus and I'm definitely not bashing the creators of anything, and I didn't mean for it to come off like that, I just don't think those kinds of things would fit the ArmA 3 "feel".

Welcome to Intense Gaming Epoch, we are a little server new to the Epoch community looking for fresh new players to come and join the fun, we have a nice admin team with none of the "he spawned this!" crap of a server you may have played on before.     I have installed the mod and I am trying to use it for admin tools, I have set up the permission/access module in my mission and added it to my server but when I join the server gives repeated messages saying Reading Mission File from database. What causes this issue and how can I fix it?

  14. I know how to add weapons from inside the game, but when i do that from an outside script and execute it on the player (to eliminate the init box hassle) the weapons dont show up... is there special stuff i have to add to the outside script to make it work? Thanks, ragin.
  15. same code i use inside the game for weapon spawns on a soldier init.sqf file removeAllWeapons this; this AddWeapon "Class_Name" <#Just for example as im talking in general here# and other weapons and remove weapons stuffs in game exec "init.sqf" and when i go into the game it doesn't give an error or anything, just doesn't give me the weapon, it may be setting a delay for the soldier spawn as i have noticed in some scripts, if so how do i set those up?

  17. I am making a paintball mission and I need the guns given to players to not kill them but to just be able to run another script when the damage is dealt... is there any lower the damage a gun does with a script so it doesnt kill the players? :j:

The new official thread most of the conversation is already here if you want to make a suggestion do it on this thread, any technical stuff like helping me with scripting goes on the other thread... I will post some stuff of everything that is done, going to be done, and I am thinking about doing soon, mission progress meter here! :confused:
  19. well without giving too much of my ideas away the way I wanted to do it was set the damage a certain weapon does to say 0.1, then use the event handler for player damage to tell the script to say "hey this guy took this much damage so he is on this team and needs to go to this box to sit out till the match is over"

    Tonic one suggestion i have if not already there is to add a config so that only certain player can use the scripts... sort of like an admin tool to spawn vehicles for server use
  21. that looks very complicated... is there a way to do it with the weapons themselves, like not through the players because the way i plan on scripting it to tell the difference between teams is by the different damage the weapons do... im not script orientated and I can only do basic stuff... if not though I will try to figure that out ---------- Post added at 02:14 ---------- Previous post was at 02:02 ---------- also if anyone has a towing script for arma 3 that would be great...     i got on a wasteland servver and used the mission file but it wouldnt load my char. ill try the fallout mission because i like the game so...
