  1. Yes sure it's your map and it's your decision. I just wanted to share my thoughts to improve the overall feeling of your island. 

    And Los Santos is quite far from using similar Greek style village houses .

     

    ya, that is what we get, if someone want share hes own buildings to be used in this map is free to do it, since the map is from the community for the community..

  2. Cant belive Tanoa.....

     

    Texture sat is like generated with L3dt and never reach the work with photoshop

    85% of the buildings are unaccessible ( 0 progress from arma1 really ? )

    At goerge Town there is 2 skyscraper are glithed inside each other and u cant enter at the first floor unless you teleport your self inside

     

    Some doors got problem of collider LOD dat dont allow you to enter inside

     

    AI maybe dont remember what the road is ( :D )


  3. Enough progress has been made that it is time to show the community some of what we are working on. I will update this post as soon as we have perfected a 1.6 compatible config and created build #0.08

    project horde is the working title of a 40x40km map converted from a 100x100km chunk of Norwegian fjords and mountains.

  4. Hi, just look at two screenshots below. Before (using reshade) and after (new light engine). The old maps look like s..t, why they never give us option to turn it off or on ? Do not tell me to check post processing options because I spend hours on it and NO GO.

  5. Of course you can make change to it as the E76 stuff was given out for people to learn from and help make things for arma community.

     

    As for an updated version of E_76 it might just be better to make another addon with the config for people then try to get the old post and addons updated with a mix and match of stuff as many many people have worked on it lol.

     

    Shulzts managed to update it to a version called Jackson county might have few things in it that are fixed.

  6. Am very happy to see people using the E76 Stuff even it was made for A2 just show that the content stand the test of time am sure Sirel wound proud of it. 

     

    Just wish id managed to make few of the building to have insides. 

     

    But that graffiti id never of thought to do something like that looks amazing can't wait to see the map when its done good luck in your work. 

     

     

    I have made a little change , relative to config to make sure some roads are placeable with xcam, and be visible in game....its allowed when i release the map to upload a version of E_76 updated or is better i make another addon with the config for the E_76?

For those terrain makers experiencing visual issues with lighting and coloring, check your RVMAT files in your layers, specifically the PixelShaderID setting.  For the new update the parameter value should be "TerrainSNX".  Terrain Builder is currently putting out "TerrainX", which is incorrect as of 1.60.  I manually changed the RVMATs on my terrain and the difference was significant.

     

    I've filed a bug report on the feedback tracker detailing my findings.

    Not only, even the specularpower is broken, Source can be Specularpower = 1 but TB will generate incorrect Rvmat with the specularpower = 0

    Actually no, because of the new update the shadows and the light are not good like before....i am trying different params but still dosent look as before...cant undestand why BI dont release a manual or something when they do this BIG edit of theyr game.

    They should remember is because of modder's and mission maker if arma goes so far...since OFP 


  9. I think, I gona love this map, but there is one thing I want to ask the map maker.

    Does the map requires the stupid oversized CUP mod or not? It whould be a shame to download 5-6gig of scrap just to play your awesome map...

    Are there any new pictures? Can't wait for the first release, so you need to give us some placebo ^^

     

     

    No it only requeried 1,7 gb of addons
