Hey Guys, Due to reformatting of my system I had to reinstall Arma 2 Free, but it does not connect to "free.arma2.com" site from I can log in to my steam account and retrieve the CD-Key. Anyone facing this problem ? As it's been a couple of days since I am not being able to connect. Thnx.

Hi, Where can I get a list of dedicated Arma 2 free servers which I could use in MP. I am not too much in to Zombies , but would love to play missions involving jungle warfare pure tactical. Thnx

BTW I am planning on skipping A2 CO and going with A3. But I will only purchase after the launch.

I tried the IP in MP but it does not show up the server. BTW I am not using A2 CO or A3 , it is currently only on A2 Free.

Nope not for the aircrafts, the aircrafts in Arma have a bad attitude and dynamics they have horrible controls , honestly don't like it. Usually the hovering of a heli is for rapid deployment and stuff, i don't train on a heli so i would not know, but i think a heli can be landed without hovering , you can land it but you need to be careful about the speed and the rate of descent , you need to get a soft touch down, i have done it and landed perfectly but it is difficult. For flight training XPX is great. I want to play Arma for the simple reason -flexibility for ground forces and the weapons which sound just awesome.

To Bohemia and also forum members, Hi , I am from India and just last week I downloaded Arma 2 Free version and used the Multiplayer , i am blown with this sim it's just amazing, i am more of a pilot (soon to be) so use FSX and X plane for training. I just wanted to ask, do I need to purchase the Beta without even trying it ? I am definitely going to buy Arma 3 but after a couple of months. Bohemia after X plane you have given the best Military sim.

To Bohemia and members, I am using Arma 2 free version with the CD key from my steam account and now suddenly I am getting banned from a couple of servers which is running Dynamic Zombie Sandbox. I don't understand why is it that I am getting banned. I am in the process of buying Arma 3 which is next month but if this banned thing happens I doubt I will go ahead with Arma 3. One another issue that I have been noticing is on certain servers I suddenly keep getting weird messages like "Unknown man far out" and many similar ones. What I understood from search over the internet is that it is being hacked. Is this a problem from my end or is it the server ? I hope I have posted in the correct forum. Help appreciated.

I have reformatted the system and resinstalled thrice but it is just banning me. but it does not happen on all the servers. Does have anyone any idea ?
