The 99th Infantry Division is a Military Simulation unit whose purpose is to provide an experience that would be as realistic as possible. 99th Infantry Division plays with mods such as ACE3, AliVE, Task Force Radio and a lot more. we have a rank structure that we utilize for maximum productivity. we play only cooperative operations, and work together as an infantry regiment with supporting elements to accomplish our objectives as a team. Upon Acceptance into the 99th, you will be placed through a training process to verify and teach you the skills you will need to know in combat situations. we offer an in depth BCT and AIT course to ready your skills, using SOP’s(Standard Operating Procedures) from the real military. Our current requirements are -Must Have Teamspeak 3 -Must be willing.. to use Play WithSix to download our mods we do not have an age requirement, however if we feel you are not mature enough to handle yourself during operations you will be removed. We have a Strict Ranking Structure, we use the United States Army’s Ranking System and organization. 4 soldiers to a Fireteam 2 Fireteams to a Squad 3 squads to a platoon our ranking structure is in place to ensure productivity. if a PVT has an issue, he can pass it up to his CPL, CPL to the SGT and so on, that way the everyone with higher ranks who have more responsibility can continue working on their positions without interruption. every person who joins the unit will need to EARN respect, it will not be given to you. after graduating AIT your rank will be assigned based on your dedication and performance. we also give out ribbons and medals to those who earn it. -Summary if you're looking for an “ELITE SPECIAL FORCES RANGER FORCE†this is not the place for you, if you are however looking for a unit that is well organized, well polished and realistic than you have come to the right place. we only want members who want to be a part of something greater than themselves, to earn the same respect as someone in the real military would receive. please message me if you are interested in joining and we will go from there, if you're not interested i would at least like to thank you for taking the time to read this, and good luck on your future endeavors. Who are 4Sec? 4th Section is a European based unit with the majority of its member base coming from the UK. We have been around for 8 months and in that time we have grown far bigger than we could of ever dreamed. What started as a few friends playing Arma together and have grown into a fully fledged community of players from all walks of live and backgrounds. We are recruiting for mature, like minded tactical players who are aged 16+ and enjoy a challenge. Missions are carried out twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays between the hours of 1900-2200hrs (London GMT). We run regular campaigns that are dynamic and change depending on our actions during operations. We have no ranks to speak of, instead we use a Tier system which has absolutely no bearing on a members status within the community. The tiers are to show dedication and long term membership. Training In 4Sec all new members go through our Probational Operator course. This course is not designed to teach you how to play Arma 3, although if required we can. It is to show you how we play Arma 3 and to help you fit in with our teams during missions. During this course you can expect to learn: *Rules of engagement *Team tactics *Navigation (if you already know how to read a map this is more of a refresher) *The traffic light system *Close Quarter Combat (otherwise known a MOUNT or FISH) The list above is not a complete list. From start to finish you can expect the course to last 3 nights, possibly quicker depending how quickly you pick up the information. Does 4th Section Operators PVP? In a word, NO. We are a COOP only unit inside of Arma 3. NOTE: Outside of Arma 3 we do like to give each other a kicking for a laugh. Community made mods You will be hard pressed to find a community these days that do not use mods in some shape or form. 4th Section's mod pack changes depending on our campaign and requirements. This means that you will need to download our mod pack, which in itself is very easy and we will talk you through it. It also means that every couple of months you may be required to download new mods. We keep this to a minimum as much as possible. Members also get a say on what mods we include Transparency in 4Sec In 4Sec we are transparent about all decisions we make. Leadership meetings by 4 core members are held at the end of each campaign to discuss topics ranging from mod packs, to team rosters. After they reach a decision another meeting is held to include all community members in a open forum style where each member has the right to voice his, or her opinions. The leadership then take this and either implement the suggested change as is, implement it with any changes the community wishes to add, or disgard the change all together. Its been noted however, that the timing of this move happens to coincide with a CSAT deployment in the city's airport.
