Well this will sound mighty retarded and I hope no one calls me out on being a pirate, but I have a pretty massive problem with an arma gold edition I recently dug up. having bought it 3 or so years ago on Amazon. I didn't even get to play MP back then. So I wanted to activate on steam to give it another go, and lo and behold, I found no CD key anywhere on the box or it's contents. I put the disk in to try a manual and install and see if maybe it was something there, to no luck. As expected it asked me for the key and I again searched the operations manual as it indicated and the B&W reference guide with it thoroughly to no avail. There simply isn't anything remotely resembling a serial written on the back of the manual, I've thought if it could have been a small piece of paper or something inside the box that I might've lost or something, maybe it had diferen't packaging. The only guarantee I can give of having the game is photos of the dvd case and it's insides in any case, I was pretty dumbfounded by this because I don't even know how I managed to use it those years ago.
Posting this here because I doubt I have the only manual without a CD key written on it and maybe someone had a similar situation, if not, what's the best course of action to prove my purchase and get a new key.
