i've seen a few games pull this off without the hit in frame rates, a full sized map on a second screen would be awesome ;)

Ahh, i hadn't thought of that yet thanks :), I have xpadder I'm sure I could do the same thing but it would be nice to do it in game.

Alt-Enter, puts it into windowed mode, resizing it is a bit tricky but it will keep running without the it being the active window. Although it won't take joystick or keyboard commands. EDIT: I'm not sure if it keeps running when alt tabbed, didn't really test it....

Hey man, thanks for the reply. I figured I could delete them from cfg files and what not, I was just add suggestions to the pile. it would be nice if you could manage things from in game, IE the lab. It would also be nice to to the same thing from the map. Thanks again N75!

. As it is now, the rover or lander studies the sample on mars, no need to bring it back to earth to do the same thing over again. stuff like this all depends on what the devs want to do with the game, suggestions of base building etc have been mentioned by others. but who know.

I'm not talking about deleting vehicles on mars, i'm talking about deleting them from the lab...

The xbox controller in general seems to have somewhat native support. pushing Y in the settings menu will take you to a classic controler layout and you can chose between "Default" and "Alternative" at the moment that doesn't seem to do much. Also i can't seem to change key bindings on the joystick itself, (xbox controller or flight stick) changing keyboard or mouse settings works just fine however, it would be nice to set up custom keybindings for non generic usb controllers :) -Regards Nick "Reject"

There are a few things that bug me with the vehicle lab. The first is no names more than 12 chars. Second is not being able to use the same name twice, i can see why, but while not being able to delete old landers and rovers, this gets annoying. My suggestion would be to add in a simple vehicle management system/window/page that would allow you to load a vehicle in the lab, delete a vehicle prefab and rename them. IMO this alone would be awesome but could also be expanded with categories, an idea would be that you could assign/move vehicles into folders or categories to make them easier to sort. It would be nice in the space program mode to opt-in to a "dev" mode / Cheat mode. like you do with real-time/sim-time. ive had to restart the space program a number of time (at least 5 times now) because the 1st rover crashes on the sky crane drop or somthing. the opt in cheat mode could disable achievements and all that stuff. Most of all, i don't see why not in a single player game, if the game has a leader board type system at one point you could always just opt out the dev/cheat mode guys. -Regards Nick "Reject"

Yeah man, have a look in the settings for "Horizontal and vertical mouse resolution" should be in the controllers tab. if not have a look at the others it should be there. EDIT: +1 for mini map 2nd Edit: having a compass bearing thats aligned with the map would be extremely handy for navigation I'm not sure what kind of nav systems would work on mars, ie magnetic/gps but i know it would be cool if we had somthing.

This would be awesome, I would also like a full screen windowed option. Thats one thing I didn't like about the arma series running the games in windowed mode was a hard enough.
