  1. Hi, Recently, i've been getting a really bad stutter problem when I play on any server with or without mods even when I have a pretty good PC. The sutter lasts anywhere from 2-60 seconds and the fps normally drops to around 1-3 even when the game runs smoothly at around 60fps normally. I've tried many things like reinstalling, lowering settings and changing the gpumaxframesahead but have had no luck. My specs: -I7 4790K -GTX 970 -8gb RAM (2x4gb) -Asus Ranger VII Mobo - 2tb hard drive If anyone has any idea on how to help then it would be much appreciated, Thanks.
  2. it's definitely worth it because some of my friends done that and it made a 20 fps differance ---------- Post added at 14:43 ---------- Previous post was at 13:44 ---------- I forgot to mention that i only have 6gb of RAM
  3. i tried all those launch parameters and they didnt change anything. I don't understand how you use that malloc thing though.
  4. thanks, i'll just go look how to defrag now, does it take anything useful off your computer?
  5. Just tried that and it made no difference. but thanks! ---------- Post added at 10:38 ---------- Previous post was at 10:35 ---------- Not much. Just some of the usual stuff like nvidia things and razer synapse. nothing is taking up more than 2% of my cpu
  6. no, its just gotten worse over time.
  7. Sorry its an i5 3570k and no I don't have any launch parameters.
  8. On dayz and other arma 2 servers I am getting anything from 10-30 fps and I have a i5 3770k and a gtx 770. On the same servers my friend is getting 50-70 and he has an i5 4670k and a gtx 660. Also, when I am driving in a land vehicle I get like 10 fps and lag spikes every 3 secs going to 2 fps, and my friend has no problem. On the ground (running/walking) I get like 15 fps going down to 5 fps like every 10 secs. (I get the same fps on low or very high settings. Any help would be much appreciated!
