I've searched and asked but no replies so hoping someone here can help. SA I want to make Unit 2 go prone.. I say "Two" and it's selected. I say "go prone" and nothing happens. I'm wondering if it's how I've typed in the command. I need "7" to select Mode then "8" to "Go Prone" What I've typed in is : 7,8 and now I'm wondering if there is some symbols , decimeters that should be used ie '7' ; '8'. Help appreciated. Txs

That's not only silly--it's just plain stupid. I'm getting sick and tired of having to restart and re-do what I've already done. Ditching the campaign.

I started a small scenario in Apex just after I got it and now I can't find it to continue. It starts off having to clear and search a compound , then you go to NY..and that's as far as I got. Would someone mind telling me what the scenario is called? Txs

Got it sorted out...it's some convoluted process of finding it in your purchases on the BIS site , then pressing a few buttons and eventually Steam will start downloading.

I did contact support but how would you link it to your account if it isn't downloaded? (doesn't show up in ArmA3 other than buy)

I pre-ordered and just finished a 4G ArmA3 update , but no Apex.Paid BI according to email I received from Paypal. Has it not been released yet?? It doesn't even show in my Steam Library as being paid for..want's me to purchase again. Who to contact?

Ahhh.. I think the problem is Tanoa will be part of the Apex expansion and the vehicles causing the problem are also in the Apex expansion , which I won't get until July 11. Then I'll find out. -
Errors in Steam downloaded missions

It seems to happen with various missions (I tried 4) I allow the Steam workshop to install. I manually installed a mission from Armaholics and it worked fine. Addendum: I just tried manually downloading a mission (Drug Dealer hideout on Tanoa FYI) and copying the pbo into the missions folder. Same results..missing vehicle class. -

I did some further checking on these errors: 21:13:42 Warning Message: steam\__cur_sp.Stratis\mission.sqm/Mission/Entities/Item35.type: Vehicle class B_LSV_01_armed_F no longer exists and Vehicle class B_T_Recon_M_F no longer exists I searched the ArmA3 Class WiKi for "B_LSV_01_armed_F" and "B_T_Recon_M_F" and the search returned 0 results. I read that a while back BI changed their class naming protocol and am wondering if that's the problem or if these vehicles have been removed or are in an add on Steam didn't advise me about when I downloaded. I tried about 4 times to download and play various missions from the Steam workshop and for each and everyone of them I got an "Steam\ _cur_sp (any map) \missions.sqm\yada yada (slew of sub-folders)/ Vehicle class (various vehicles) no longer exists" error. I verified the game cache , no errors. Restarted Steam and Arma3 , same results. Any ideas what the problem may be? Wondering if it has anything to do with Steam deciding to shuffle things around and assign numbers to the various mods rather than file name..just a guess. Help appreciated. Visuals and sounds..look at "Squad"

I wasn't trying to compare the two ..both have their strong points and weak points as far as game play goes. I was simply pointing out the graphics (at least as far as bullets/explosions go) and audio in "Squad" are superior but i guess , as was pointed out earlier , the ArmA3 engine is 15 years old and can't reproduce these. -
I've always wondered why the bullet impacts were more representative of paint ball splatters and the weapon sounds were cap gun like (even though the team says these are actual weapon sounds) in ArmA. "Squad" weapon sounds SOUND like high powered rifles and bullet impacts LOOK like high powered impacts. Why can't we have these?

What this game needs..stacked commands

What would be a nice feature IMO would be the ability to issue commands in sequence to various units and then issue an "execute" command..ie #1 move to nnn , #2 , move to xxx etc. then execute , rather than each one running off as soon as the command is issued, Probably could be a simple array that would store the unit# and the command. -
