Thrillhouse's PvP Party Games
by Thrillhouse
Description:
I love ArmA and have been playing as long as I can remember, but sometimes due to lack of players/time/etc., you just want a quick fix with a few friends without having to organize a full-scale event. Thrillhouse's PvP Party Games is a small collection of maps for quick PvP fun. Each map is centered around a unique objective and is played by either two teams or in free-for-fall style.
Mission Content:
Porta-Potty Deathmatch: An arena-style, team deathmatch map made almost entirely out of porta-potty game objects. It features obstacles, symmetry, and a conspicuous and likely dangerous lawn chair in the center that will be referred to from now on as the "hot seat". This game supports up to 16 players.
Island Invasion: Up to four players are stationed in a dimly-lit bunker on an island equipped with nothing but their rifles, flashlights, and wits. Up to four other players, equipped with night vision goggles, leave the adjacent coast line in an assault boat and attempt to neutralize the other team. Seeing as the invading players have quite the advantage, it's recommend to have around twice as many island defenders as infiltrators..
Scramble n' Shoot: Up to eight players, all operating independently, must race their quad bikes across a dangerous valley to reach a supply crate, arm themselves, and take out the others.
Rapid Raid: In this up to 3v3 scenario, a team of operators must breach and clear a small house on the port. Beginning positions give the players inside sufficient time to scramble for cover and sneaky positions.
Cliff Cross: Up to five players, given weapons, ammo, and even a vehicle, must traverse the road neighboring a wooded cliff-side. Much to their misfortune, up to five players also given weapons, ammo, and a vehicle lay hidden in the woods beside the road. This map allows for creative solutions and scenarios, like blocking off the road with a car, sneaking around the road, lacing trees with bombs, etc.
