Thanks a lot for the reply, Messiah. Once I get to the point of making a scenario that's worth posting up and making available, I'll think about contacting bis about it. Until then, perhaps I'll work on moving/deleting buildings and other techniques. To answer your question, yes- moving buildings to a different location on the map or even bringing buildings from another map to the map I'm working on. I've already read on resources to find object id's, but haven't heard of CamCreate. I'll do a search and see what I come up with. Again, I appreciate your response. -
Just saw this thread and I can't wait to dive into this stuff today. As a total newcomer to this, its gonna help a ton with what I want to accomplish. Bigtime thanks to all those who have contributed to this thread so far!

I appreciate in advance any help I could get with achieving my goals- Short term, my goal is to edit existing building(s) by creating openings, like windows for snipers and open doors, so you can enter buildings. I figure if I can manage that, I could handle texturing or using existing files to furnish/lay out the interior of the building(s). Nothing fancy. Just a floor and maybe a desk or so. I've already started messing around with the editor, but I need to be able to find the building I'm after in all those PBO files (I assume it's in one of those). There are tons of buildings, and I need a way to locate certain structures within maps. Another thing that would be helpful, which probably goes with the territory of all the aforementioned tasks, is moving buildings... I'm sure this is possible, but I'm obviously new, so I'm ignorant to this whole thing. I'm willing to put the effort into learning. I've searched this forum and can't find anything specific to what I'm talking about. All the stuff I've found has brought me to this point. Again, any help is greatly appreciated. -
ARMA 3 Addon Request Thread

The Ghost Recon missions must be re-created. There was some missions and a campaign that did this to an extent with arma 2, but I'd like to see it for arma 3 and more accurate to the original maps. One disappointing thing about before was no bank mission! Aka the embassy... I'd live to see all the maps and missions from GR island thunder and desert siege recreated as accurately as possible. I know there's capable and willing modders out there that would be willing to tackle such a project. -
I can't get the IT missions to work- They all start with my team dead at the start... Anyone know the problem? I got the original GR to work; just all the IT missions are a problem. Anyone got any suggestions?
