Hello everyone, My name is Nathan.
I recently got ArmA2 CO, From my nearest game dealership. It is the Disk version so i did not purchase it Via steam or official website. When i try to get the most recent patch for the game it gives me an error message stating "ArmA2 OA is not installed or is corrupted" And sometimes i get "ArmA2 ACR is not installed or is corrupted" I did not try to get ACR only CO. My cd drive on my Laptop does not function properly so i put the installer on a External harddrive and used the auto installer from there. I have looked through the other posts but have come up short due to them being mainly based on the steam version of the game. I installed and ran the game as it stated on the start up. It reminded me to get the most recent patch which obviously i tried and failed to do so. My friend also got the game the same way as me (Same day same game) He can use it in the CD Drive and as far as i know he can play dayz without having patched his game, Does that mean that if i install dayz i will be able to play it reguardless of my current patch that i am using.
