Hello, We have a new community called Arma Elite Gaming that is completely dedicated to all of Bohemia Interactive's Armed Assault series. We are currently working towards the development of an Altis Life server and hope to expand to other Arma 3 and Arma 2 series missions in the future. We are looking for anyone who has coding experience to help us out. Our current staff in putting in long hard hours to put this community together, and we hope to get it populated soon with your help. About our team: - We are currently a small staff ranging 2-7 people general completing office tasks and paperwork. None of us have any real coding experience but we are definitely willing to learn. - We are friendly and love to mess around, make jokes, argue, and annoy each other. - We currently have no set working hours but some staff are spending 16 hours or more a day just to help out. - We are currently raising funds for servers and hope to get our server running soon. - We are based in the US and are on mainly in the afternoon - We are a dedicated team of people looking forward to the success of this community. Developer Tasks: - Create customization to the mission (never have to develop an entire mission, unless you want to.) - Fix bugs - Add features such as custom buildings, ect. - Manage server (restarting the server, upload new missions, create new servers) - complete occasional diagnostic testing to make sure missions and servers are working properly Skills/Features we are looking for: - have advance coding experience in Arma (of course!) - can model vehicles and uniforms for missions (it's okay if you can't, but this is a real plus to the dev process!) - friendly, patient, good under pressure - can work on deadline for some tasks - can work with other developers to complete the task. - trusting (don't leak new special mission update/features. Also trust with server passwords and access) - willing to work hard to improve the community. After almost two weeks of reconstruction and the shut-down of all our servers including our website, The Gaming Masters [TGM] Arma Community is back up and running with all new features. One this big update, the TGM staff and all it's developers created exciting changes. We have remodeled our whole entire website for easy client interface. We have created a separate Police Department Website with its own SOP structure allowing our Police Department to be more organized. Our Teamspeak has changed it's structure allow donators to create their own temporary channels! After two months of development and after the big success we had with our Arma 2:OA Emita Island Life, the TGM community has developed a Global Mod Pack released to the public. IL4A is developed by TGM as a full Island Life Support website for anyone who wants to learn how to set-up an island server or community. I need some major help. I got houses custom made on my island life server but i don't know how to get it to work. The house does not lock. Can anyone find me an already made script or can create one for me on a strip club and a dance club. Can anyone at least lead me to what scripts I need. I need a dance and strip club with lights and music only inside the club. The club would be restricted and requires you to pay to get in. So I need a script that would kick you out if you uid is not in the script. It has to have a dance floor, dj stand, ect.

Hi, i am looking for a script or scripter that can add lights into a room in a warehouse and make the lights change colors and have it play music. I want to input a light like streetlight or any light but have it emit different colors. Also, add something like a box and have it be playing music.

I need to create a stat-save for my island life server. I want it so when people join, the stats save every 5-10 minutes and then when tthey leave the server and join back, their stuff is still there. I do not know where to start. I have one on my server but is currently not working.

I want to create a mod pack @(mymodname) and I want to have the same addons as another community's but all of it has .bisign with their name on it. How do I make a mod folder with all the same add-ons but with my own bisign.

I got a mission that i obtained from joining a server. The copyright says i have permission to use it as long as i credit the original authors. I extracted the files into a folder on my desktop then opened the sqm files with notepad++ and edited everything i needed to and saved it. I moved all the files back to the pbo file and tested it out. I can't launch the file and it crashes my game when i try to launch it. How do i edit the mission files like these? I need this solution ASAP. Thanks in advance for your replies

I have a few problems with my mission right now. Attempting to create island life, i am almost finished but i got a few errors. One, when someone robs the bank, it says you robbed $NUN or something like that. Assigning houses to donators. I do not know how to do this. I attempted it but the house won't open. Stats are always loading when i test out the mission on a local server that i host off my computer. COuld hosting it off my computer be the problem. I need to create an addons folder with all the mods the TCG has and more but they have the bisign on it. I am getting a VDS server to host the Arma 2:OA server but i have no idea how to start one up. I have a few other changes i need done also but these are the main one. How do i solve this problem? Can anyone help me out by talking to me on teamspeak or emailing me or messaging me through steam. I need this mission finished ASAP. Please private message me if you want to talk directly. Thanks in advance for all your responses :D

The mission is found in .../saved/mpmissions When I open it, the folder is empty.

Anything i edit and save, it will give me the error "Mission file too short". how do i change it? what do i need to change? The mission is obtained by joining another server. When i moved the files, it gave a message of "This will remove the digital signatures" of the files. Could this be it?

What do i need to create an island-life server? How much time will it Take? Can anyone do this for me? How much will it cost? I understand that it needs a lot of scripting and mods but how do i do it? Can anyone walk me through in creating one? I'll add you as admin if i can get it up and running. As most of you know, island life is a full on RPG server that brings Arma 2 gaming to a whole new level. There are only a few servers available that offer this and only a few are actually good. The -=11thAD=- Clan has developed a separate website community called The Gaming Masters. This site is meant to help and server owners for Arma games. It will help them will all their problems and even teach them how to run a server. It is also a community for a Island-Life server. We currently do not have a server up yet as we are still setting up. Since we are just starting out, we are looking for people interested in becoming part our staff.
