i'm not sure about you young one, but many of us, are over the age of 18 and have handled many firearms.

Due to the lack of smaller caliber rifles, and being a huge m40 fan, and owning a replica myself, just wondering how hard it would be to get it made from start to scratch, and if its worth doing, not really looking to release to get known in the modding game or anything like that, just a gun i want for myself, and tired of all these .50cals etc. So basicly how hard is it to mod a new weapon to the game? and is it doable with 0 past modding/scripting experience.

would love to see a m40 :) not digging the new sniper rifles BO added

Like i said in the OP, they work in the editor, but do not work on the multiplayer servers, i assume the server allows the mods as like i stated, i see other people with the mods running. No error codes concerning the mods, i'm able to get some of the guns but not all, the main one i'm trying to get work is the ghillie suit mod.

Basicly my problem is i have the addons installed, and they all work in the editor, but i can't get them to work on multiplayer servers, even when i see other people using them, the 3 i'm using are the Ghillie, french weapons mod, and the m107 mod. any help would be great :)
