ItsThomas - Thanks for the link! Just seen it :) Game looks quite complicated to explain im still not sure. I mean, he talks about creating your own gametypes and stuff which means all the players will be spread out so thin across servers 'cos everyone will have their own gametypes etc? Ithink im having one of those days where im just not "getting" shi*t haha :S baloo666 Is there a free version?! I thought you could only buy the game to get the Alpha!? DayZ is also you need to pay looking on Steam - Unless there's like a trial game im missing :(

Hello All, So the other day it was late night and I was on youtoobs when I happened to come across someone playing Arma DayZ. I sat through his 30 minute gameplay commentary as I had absolutely nothing better to do with my time whatsoever. The game itself seemed like something I "could" get involved with or atleast give it a go. (Still had no clue what it was about.) To be honest, the idea of being in an open world where I can shoot other live players (not cpu) would be a nice time killer. So went on Steam today to check out Arma 2 and saw the whole new page for Arma 3. Thing is, I still dont know much about this game. So its open world.....Are we in an open world with other live players?? Can I shoot these live players? Can I log in and sabotage everyone? Or is it all CPU people in-game (Boring) What are you supposed to do? Will there be a side you can choose on this massive open world and kill the opposite side? (Kinda like MAG on PS3) Wanna try out the Alpha but on the bench at the moment until i can understand more about this game! Thanks guys. BTW - Good Voice on the Arma Intro video - Enjoyed listening to that. Oh....Is there a massive problem with cheating in the game currently? (This totally puts me off)
