    I am having the same issue. Just started this morning. I select the role and click okay and it will load a portion and then freeze/lockup. Only way to get out is ctrl+alt+del then use task manager to force close of Arma 3. Was working fine yesterday afternoon then all of the sudden today bam no longer works. Edit to add: I am having this problem with all servers including my clans server. We run no mods at all ATM strictly BIS provided content!

    Not sure if anyone else has noticed this, but I have noticed that with the 1.3 version I was having to aim just to the right of target to ensure proper impact on targets. When lookin through scope from center of scope to first mildot to the left, break that down into eighths and I am about 1/8th to the right of my target to ensure headshot. As for the added recoil in the new version not right from what I've read. The barrel and stock absorb the recoil of the shot on RL counterpart. I've shot them quite a few times and thought the recoil needed toned down a hair from V1.3 not up

    Found the issue with the scopes. In Kae's SVD's last update. Removed it and boom worked again. Like the new version however even on ultra settings the silencer still turns to a chrome appearance when you are about 10 meters away from someone in your squad with the m4 silencer. I'll post a screen shot when I get home from work today for ya Warren.

    Yes others are runnin current version. The thermal and NV optics no longer can be loaded onto the rifle anymore when I attempt it.

    With the new version I have lost compatibility with this mod (http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=19809). A few of the silencers show up as a chrome look on other users when in a dark area also.

    Oh yeah i know Flutter, we typically ask everyone to grab the few mods we run. Though it just shows that indeed you can run mods without all players having them. I like that but then again I don't. I liked counter strikes approach back in the day where mods were downloaded from the server to client side while you were runnin in that server. Could be a cool addition to the Arma 3 full release. That way people don't have mis-matches and they do see everything.

    Found a work around. The only problem with using the mods online really is other players will not see you carrying a weapon. I did figure out how to utilize the silencer though. goto editor drop in the colt crate and and the V.A.C. Then grab the silencer for the rifle out of the colt crate, go over to the V.A.C. and save the loadout. boom goto multiplayer go over to the V.A.C. and load that load out then you have a silenced M4 in multiplayer without having to clutter the map with the ingame ammo crates ;)

    As for PSO Scope not working, you can indeed use the SVD on a multiplayer mission that has the Virtual Ammo Supply, just users without the mod will not see you carrying a weapon. Normal optics work from this VAS but the PSO can not be grabbed out of it. As for textures I will pm you shortly.

    Yes I have and it did not work. Still kinda new on things Alwarren, don't even know what you are telling me lol. Modding was never a strong point of mine, only textures.

    No I am talking about grabbing the suppressor from the Virtual Ammo Crate on multi-player missions being the V.A.C. produces a lot less glitches and less dsync on servers. I can grab the M4 rifle and Ammo no problem's its the suppressor that I can not grab out of the crate and equip to the rifle. Most of the server I visit are running variations of the Dynamic War Sandbox Mission which has the virtual ammo crate supply; that I believe Tonic created, running in the mission so the map isn't cluttered with gear for the 100's of people to come into the server and empty.     Virtual ammo crate ;). It causes less lag on multiplayer. Other than that the M4 works as intended. I can get everything except the suppressor

    So I wanna help with this. How can we make the suppressor be able to be grabbed from a crate as the m4 rifle and ammo is? Do I need the CBA mods from A2 or something?

  24. Okay last night me and a few guys that love MilSim aspects were on a server last night as force recon. We enjoyed the ability to shot from inside of building with windows. However after shooting out the windows the shots from our squad were being deflected while the AI's shot were still spot on. Just pointing that out about the the new breakable window option. Thank BIS for the awesome MilSim's you have released over the years and thanks for the release of the alpha to the general public!
