Go for one with the highest contrast ratio, highest resolution (1080p is better than 720p) and the lowest response time. IPS Vs TN isn't too important for games but IPS is better. Try Invade & Annex from ahoyworld.co.uk :) It's domination but not called domination as per Xenos request. You can scale back the enemy AI numbers to suit lower pop servers

Go in to offline mode and then back to online :) Mine was the same but then once back in online mode you will see a % show near Arma 3 alpha as it's downloading the update.

I wouldn't say it's a bad update, It is how i expected an Alpha build to behave :) As someone said in another post " 2 steps forward and 1 back " and that pretty much sums up how it's going, just be glad to be part of a great game and know that the best is still yet to come.

Agreed the lag and stuttering is worse on 0.54. Also i thought the signature verification lag was meant to be fixed in this update ? no mention of it in the release notes

I launch mine through the launch paramters

The hang is caused by the blood mist addon, launching without starts normally but launching with causes a 2 minute hang. I run the stable version and it hasn't had an update for about a week. I'm not complaining :) I seen before downloading it that people were having issues with it hanging, It only hangs when you launch the game and i only launch it once so i don't mind it.

If you don't like how the game is now then don't play it :p wait for it's proper stable release after all the alpha and beta testing is done, It will cost more then so be happy you saved a few quid :) Personally i'm loving A3 :D we run a public server and do have arseholes spoiling things but the regular players know it will be sorted, once the scripter is found they are banned and we continue playing.

He's jumped into bed with them at GamersPlatoon.com and they are the people being Dayz Origins. They refuse to release the server files publically, only official partners can sell origins servers and to be official you pay them. That is how Martin is making money from this ... Opendayz tried to host their own version or emulation of the map and were hit by a DMCA notice and the threat of being sued for thousands of dollars. When i first read this i had sympathy for Martin, now things have changed and he is making money from Taviana, Dayz and other peoples code. Taviana is a great map but now anyone who attempts to use or modify the map gets threats from his legal team that they will be sued for thousands and he sends a DMCA to their host :( I think that is really really shitty. To me the modding community have always done things for free and for very little credit, Martin and his new found buddies are just parasites out to milk the gaming comminuty.

Installed and really like it :) Will be keeping this The only issue i have is like others, You get a huge delay when launching the game with it, loading screen hangs at the addons part but it does eventully load and it's a good addon.
