Yes it's really frustrating but being a prick won't make them work faster or release a fix quicker. Go play something else, It's all you can do :) Dev build didn't change anything :( We're running it now and it was soon infected.

Well this is really taking the piss now :( We've had this script run 4 times in 4 hours tonight, after that we passworded the server, only 5 of us playing and .... it happened again :o This isn't a script it's a virus

Thanks for the help so far :) So i now know VerifySignatures = 2; is pointless, It also causes lots of random lag. Scripters can't be banned because they can join without a player ID, anyone know a way to kick/block a player without an ID ?

I don't know if it was there or not before the hack but it had been modified today, all other files and folders had an older date on but the installscript.vdf was the only recently modified file. Removing it hasn't changed anything and my server is running again. Can you send me a copy of your installscropt.vdf and i'll compare it to the one i have ? *EDIT* I got one from someone else, It is a normal file but it was modified today and the time was around the same as the hack.

I'll add my 2 cents :) 1- Exellent but it does have bugs, random lag being the most annoying but it's been reported and will be fixed. I've played every day since buying the game and i'm still loving it. 2- The ArmA series has an exellent folowing, The game stands out due to it's modding community with new addons released daily. Find the right server and you'll be amazed just how well people can play together :) 3- Your PC is better than mine :( I'm fairly happy with performance so no reason you won't be.

The standing bug is amusing but the best is the guy flying outside the chopper :) he loops round and round as it flies

Welcome to the world of Alpha :) Random lag for me got worse in the last update but i'm sure it will change again next release, It's all part of the course with an Alpha release. Nothing you can do but sit back and wait for the game to progress, report any bugs you find and it will help the Dev team fix them.

You or someone who stole your key was caught cheating and banned for life. Install any programs lately that claims to boost your FPS ? usually that is how keys are stolen, It is your responsibility to look after the key. Signature verification is really harsh on the HDD, other threads have mentioned that SSD do not suffer as much with the lag it causes. I have an old Sata II HDD and it's on its way out :( The lag is killer for me compared to other players. Speaking of which, I thought it was down to be fixed in the last update ?

Any firewall or anti-virus running ? check the logs incase it's blocking anything Arma 3 related :) Try joining my server by choosing remote and then enter the IP address 178.33.6.227 and Port 2302 - See if you can connect that way.
