soulfly83 replied to derlinker's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - Servers & Administration
ace doesnt work on linux i think, i could be wrong though -
ok, i was asking because a clan mate got the demo through steam. once in game its says something about a patch hence this post. i was also told once the demo was patched it could join all mp servers, it would just be a very low res version?

All welcome at Website@ http://www.celticalliance.com Teamspeak @ celticalliance.com password: axegunorsword We are looking to get a few players on over weekend to stress test the server, all welcome :D Server is runing domination 2, you might need A2CO_ACR_LITE to join the server, can find it at http://www.arma2.com/supply/game-updates

At the moment we have domination 2 runing on the server, members have asked for a couple edits that will improve the server that they have seen on other servers. Looking for help to get the chinook lifting tanks, also making the ammo box at base bigger and to shorten the teleport time. Any help would be appreciated, cheers

A clan mate has recommended runing domination coop, to be honest after searching a fair bit am still not 100% on how setup the missions/installl etc so if anyone can help or point me in the right direction for a good tutorial it would be appreciated. Cheers -

soulfly83 replied to soulfly83's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - Servers & Administration
could anyone least tell me if this looks ok? // MISSIONS CYCLE (see below) class Missions { class COOP_Domination_2_28A2_West_ACE_OA { template="co@30_Domination_2_28A2_West_AI_ACE_OA.Takistan"; difficulty="regular"; }; }; when i try to connect i see server message, my ping in red at top right but only a black screen -
I was having a read over http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?121438-How-to-secure-Your-server-Read-here! Id like to make sure my settings are correct hence this post, since moving/copying files battle eye is off even though its set to one and the server name doesnt show, instead it shows domain name. Ive added this to the arma2oaserver script OTHERPARAMS="-beta=expansion/beta;expansion/beta/expansion -cfg=./arma2.cfg -cpucount=2 -maxMem=1500 -bepath=/home/aaa/battleye112/beserver.so -profiles=/home/aaa/players112 -config=/home/aaa./server112.cfg" Ive renamed the original files and also copyed them over to a new directory keeping the original ones were there are. Is the above correct?

I want to run a oa server but ive tryed to start each one to see if any works, both have the same problem.
