How many Ai are you running at any time ? I would suggest being more conservative on numbers, or using some sort of Caching would be more effective if you are getting slowdowns. e.g. ALiVE or any of the other (can't remember them) scripts out there. Sj -

Ha mihikle...yep I've been following smokedog's progress and am very excited to see what it looks like - I assume it's bloody Awesome ? Second the Landing craft - there was an A2 mod, but I don't recall it being that completed, not sure you could load vehicles on for instance. It would be very cool to stage some beach based operations.. SJ -

Indeed, I'm a forum whore too... but that fix is not automatically pulled down by the likes of PW6 - which means we have to add it to a custom repo - which then causes us grief... I appreciate it's easy for the likes of you and me to run multiple 10's of mods at the same time and build our own custom repos/mod packs, find and move optional Pbos to the main folder... but 90% of my unit can barely get TS to work, let alone muck around with their mod mix :-) Looks like we may have to end up doing some funky config fixes anyway under a "3cb-mod-config-fix-pack" - i.e. Hafm Vehicle fixes, ASDG compat fixes etc. But they're a pain as they need maintaining and adjusting/checking for compatibility each time something changes. SJ Actually thinking aloud - Bravo, why not include that fix in your pack ? Still not sure it solves the Bisign issue.... -

Bravo... just a note of caution; Stalker's pack does still reference Kiory's L85 as a dependancy - so in effect so will yours. Very annoying I know. I'm hoping that Kiory can fix that gun finally before he moves onto his next project - Or allow someone to create a Config fix and a Bisign for it... I'm told it's a 10 minute config job... (but what do I know!) Otherwise we're kinda stuck in limbo.... SJ -
I experience this too, i.e. with LMG's and Machince guns etc. I thought it was something to do with a sound script ! Can someone link to the bug tracker ? I'd happily sign up to get that fixed - assuming we weren't running the new Blastcore :)

PW6 is your friend here... it's the easist way to patch as it uses Delta patching, only changing or downloading new stuff not the entire mod again... A lot of people use it for simply keeping the list of mods up-to-date, and then use a modline or some other way to actually launch the game. Though to be honest once you get used to it's foibles it's really a very good system. Anyway looking forward to seeing how this develops - I really like the looks of the units and the vehicles look very mean in proper colour schemes. The T100 or whatever it is, actually looks like a real tank with your texture on it. Not a Sci-Fi toy. Good job. I'm thinking a good western europe bun-fight on the Celle Map would be brilliant - All I need is for someone to finally finish a Challenger mod and we're set. SJ

Chairborne, congrats on a great looking mod... one suggestion would be to build your weapons and vehicles into the main units mod. Within player units or clans it's very difficult to keep loading in lots of mods... "mod-count" becomes a bad word.... If you combined them so your units were all inclusive of weapons, it would be much appreciated by me and I'm sure other unit admins. p.s. no need to stop offering your weapons seperately, there's a market for that for sure. But for units, you might as well make one complete pack that has it all ready to go, rather than needing 5+ mods to get it to work. hope that makes sense ? SJ

Bravo - Bravo... sounds like a good solution. We think we can fix the config too, so let us know if you need any help - we were going to base it on the same value that the Nato GL Platecarrier uses, unless you have better values ? The helmet I have no idea, must be better than the Plastic ones they have in vanilla I would imagine ? SJ -
speak to TPW about the loudspeaker.. He has a script that allows ambient radio music from cars etc (well I think he does !!!) SJ

Hmm, I would still prefer the option to have them in the missions. They've been a dependency for more than 4 months with no complaints ? Seems a shame to break all the missions that have those units in them ? My vote is to remove them temporarily till Sudden fixes them, ideally to then get them back in as part of the mod ? SJ
