  5. Yep we've had perfectly stable setups that now seem to go belly-up. We've kind-of put a hold on further dev work till a hotfix. Bis have acknowledged there is an issue and are working on it apperntly SJ

    Foxhound it does looks like there have been some differences between the original files released to Six for instance and the latest version i.e. I had no town names or map markers first time around. Also the Ground texture looked very odd. Second time around with the latest cut it seems better. Smokedog, could you please confirm what version is most recent and validate the version number for us poor confused enthusiasts :-) SJ

    Ok, guess I was asking for trouble trying that there. Interestingly I downloaded the map off of Pw6 - the ingame map didn't match my mates, had no town names on it, none of those little bomb markers (should we be able to see those btw ?) So I downloaded your latest version in the link and that seems to have fixed it... maybe the PW6 files were missing something ? SJ

    Had a CTD when in Zeus, I placed some CSAT opfor units in the cave system and gave them a WP to kill some Blufor units also in the caves. Not sure if it's path finding issue ? SJ
  12. JIP simply means that it spawns on a client - as opposed to the server. If the Client DC's it transfers it to another it's pretty seamless. You don't get re-spawns or de-spawns... I've never experienced it anyway. The only Downsides are that slower clients (which it tried to avoid iirc) could cause some laggishness, and of course any AI skill mods or settings will be local to the particular client, so Ideally you'd have your players all running the same mod setups + ai Mods etc. It's not super noticeable if they don't - but ideally you know what I mean.     da12th, out of interest what goes wrong on the seeker ? is it a Temperature sensitive device of some sort, or like the Javelin has to be chilled before use ?
  14. Question 1) Yes Questions 2) Any mod will do that. It's best practice to manually edit the SQM to remove both sets of dependancies from the top of the file between the {} SJ

  16. Cheers for the assist mate - kju - any ideas how PW6 will fix this ? I did post up a suggestion to Sickboy about this, we need to be able to customer or override dependancies with an "Advanced user" mode or something - Pw6 Is a must for my unit as that is how we distribute and help people get setup....
  17. Agree my PIP sucks too, I'm SLI which I think might be causing some of the jerkiness - they're not really usable as actual viewports. SJ
  18. Hey Aplion, hopefully I can help Issues - weapons zoomed in to far as default. Suspension set too soft, caused wobbling on high speed roads Stryker_Dead animation on load +some RPT spam I think about missing bones ? This was the most recent version published as a fix. But it got rolled back by the 6 team as non official - https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/37604578/%40UKAF_Pre.zip Hope that helps - let us know as we were just about to push a new version out with fixes - but would MUCH rather just have the original corrected as it seems silly having lots of slightly different versions on PW6 SJ

    As an Opfor unit to fight against I really don't care about the textures not being up to close inspection standards.... It's not like we're gonna get any closer than 15 m anyway at the worst of CQB. And tbh, if you've not already got Massi's weapons on your HDD... "This is not the moddable game you are looking for....." "Move along, move along..." Nice job Bravo.. Now we need to get craigdurragh or what ever the Irish map is called fixed so we can play using AiA_tp
  23. CQB using the "server" or "headless client" is broken for the moment. You need to set it to JIP... Works for us. For takistan have you followed the spawns. They do tend to spawn inside building then walk around a bit before deciding where to stay. Normally on roofs as you observe. Perhaps the devs could up-weight Ai simply staying inside ? Sj
