    Wow I remember being lucky enough to fly in one of those British Airways Chinooks when I was a very little lad - must have been 80 - 82 somewhere around then. I remember we boarded in from the top of a "Sky Scraper" well, a tall building somewhere in London and DAMN it was loud !! Anyway cool memory

    lol no I think we're still stuck with trying to use TB..... however there are some pretty nice turorials out there... You just need to either pay a fortune to use Global Mapper or figure it out using another set of software, which is what I'm learning now. QGIS + Some other clever software... SJ

    I asked the same question. And the answer was it can do both, but is designed I think more for Terrain builders. I.e. for permenant placement. I understand it can generate a data file that can be imported into TB to help automate the Placement of objects.... Now if I can only get that far with my own little Terrain experiment then this will be VERY VERY useful. SJ
  9. They would all be brilliant... I voted for the Master Map, IBIS, bringing all the favourites onto one huge map.... ALiVE plus this ftw !!! :-) I too spotted the US was under-represented... absolutely no promises but I've started to try and get my head around Terrain making (Holy CR*P btw complex) but my first little 2x2 map is from Alabama... if I can get it to work lol SJ

    I know what he was refering to... still not sure why it earned an infraction... My understanding was that we don't take political sides here.. If I'd have sung the "Dad's Army" theme tune does that make me a british anti German Terrorist ? Not trying to be difficult, but giving infractions like that is a bit like pointing the finger all over again... Whatever bad things the IRA did, and I know they did some nasty stuff, I imagine there are a million Irish out there that have their own horror story of bad treatment by British troops ? Just saying... and to be clear I'm as British as they come... and a patriot. Just don't like double standards is all :-)

    Why would you say that ? They do totally different things - yes they share some features, i.e. a remote camera and the ability to place down an object.... er, that's about it as far as I can see ? MCC is designed as an ingame mission-making tool - Silola has SPECIFICALLY said that his tool is NOT designed for this. A brilliant tool for sure ! But not a replacement or "Better than" MCC or even Zeus. All will have their place in the armory.

    Wow, looks really good. $64K question... is it a releasable map or is this placed in the editor in some way i.e. non-binarised game objects for Screenies only ? SJ

  22. hmm, I'm thinking a tad small too... Height should be +/- 2.5 Metres to the turret Looks like it's almost there.. Think I need to see it ingame to get a "full appreciation". Keep up the good work... The idea of a configurable options sounds very cool. / Perhaps you could do Camo / paint options too in the same menu? SJ
