  1. That was essentially my thinking on this. When I was dropping people off, I wanted to scout a little and spot some people before I return to base. Was thinking, why not hover at a certain altitude and have the spotlight move around a little, just like how police helis had it. Would be pretty neat.
  2. bump Would like some input.
  3. Okay, so it seems that as I was playing the air cavalry co-op map flying troops to different locations (had quite a lot of fun) I ran into some interest things that would be nice to clear up/ have. 1. Spotlights are nice to search for enemies throughout the terrain and lighting them up for the troops to see. To my understanding, helicopters would have the ability to move the spotlight around instead of just a static location. This would be a very neat feature. 2. Collision lights are helpful to prevent accidents from happening in the air (of course, helps with those who like to grief). However, do collision lights let enemies become aware of your location if you have them on?

    JUMP please!!

No to jumping. Yes to climbing.
  5. I tried porting over ArmA 2 content into the addons folder and enabled it in-game. Now when I start the game up, I get to a black screen before the main menu. I must be doing something wrong :S

    Should I buy Alpha?

I wondered about getting Alpha two nights ago. After seeing some vast improvement in many regions of the game, I opted to get it anyways. A good game from a good developer. Not to forget the whole ordeal about having it at a cheaper price than what it will be on full release. Definitely was worth my money.

    Take Downs.

In Wasteland, an enemy and I unloaded our ammunition with our pistols and were just circle strafing. We had no other way to take each other down. Was quite amusing. Definitely wished there was a melee mechanic for that situation.

Voice Acting has got to go.

This right here is what made me cringe for ArmA 2. ArmA 3's voice is a vast improvement. Although, I feel like some of the Showcase mission voices are WAY to excited. It's like they're yelling at them.
  9. I got up and ran away during a firefight because I didn't want to get bit. That and I hate snakes.
  10. Even though, strange enough, you can wear their helmets and whatnot.

    RagDoll

I do tend to like how the enemies lean over a guard post when they are shot. Sometimes spooks me into thinking they are leaning over trying to scout.
  12. You can use MSI Afterburner. Well, I generally use it to monitor my GPU temp. but the FPS counter is also optional. I have noticed the the game bogs down slightly when in the presence of AI. I'll have to test how well Ultra High works without any AI at all.

    RagDoll

I feel like it has its ups and downs. At first hand, when I saw an enemy get shot, his body basically lost all control and "plopped" to the ground. It looks pretty real on a death animation. The other hand, there was a time when I died, I flew into the air, much like the giant in Skyrim launching you extremely high into the air, but not as high.

    ArmA 3: Tactical Dance Simulator

Had that happen earlier to me today. Sadly, I found out that when you sprint, it stops. How are you replicating it?
