I didn't mean through bombs or invasion, but missions like UN. 1st step would be educating the people, installing systems that would prevent extremist thinking, and government that would have a tight grip on any potential group. What these people are doing is a crime against humanity.

This has become very serious matter. It might not sound right, but the only way to put an end to this is by completely exterminating islam (not the people, but the religion) through coordinated action from the rest of the world.

Is that help for the UA or the people? If for UA then it's not humanitarian.

Well you are an animal depending on your religion if your religion tells you that you should act like an animal. Example: extreme islam. You shouldn't remove islam, but remove the far right jihadists. There is nothing wrong with moderate islam except food restrictions.

You also need solid evidence in US, or the charges get dismissed.

The adaptation to democracy would take much more than 20 years (those are people that have been transferring their beliefs from generation to generation) if it is even possible. The whole install democracy thing is a lost cause, which only served as an excuse to freely invade countries.

That is a naive over simplification. It's nice that you believe that, but there are over 20 partys here. Everyone who ever thought they could change something was wrong. Those who honestly wanted things better quit politics when they were faced with this. Those who stayed are the ones who want things better, but for them selves. I don't expect you to understand but if someone here knows what I'm talking about they could try to explain it better.

It is not that simple and it doesn't work that way. Ok we let's say we stop them, what next, elections, promising A delivering B? The truth is that small people can not have their country to them selves these days. With Milosevic many people think that western intelligence agencies have messed with public unrest. There is an interesting movie about that http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0339535/

2 of 3 sources are government, and the other is B92 which is quoting the government. If you don't believe a Serbian that Serbs don't like EU that's fine. Just goes to show your narrow vision.

Exactly! You can chose to not believe me, after all that would change nothing, but I happen to know a thing or two you don't. And wikipedia is called FREE encyclopedia for a reason.

I'm glad that people are coming to their senses. A month ago when I posted "democracy isn't for everyone" everyone was saying "blasphemy!".

There is mentality. Don't know how civilized folk do it, but Serbians tend to generally think the same, except if you are a politician, then you just watch your own ass. So ok i know 500-2000 people that think like I'do, but don't you think that concentration like that is a bit strange? I know my people. It's easy for someone to read a wikipedia article and think they know the whole truth, but the thing is that anyone can write what ever they feel like. Thought people would know by now that there are no neutrals when it comes to politics.

Those are polls that aim a certain group of people. General opinion in Serbia is anti EU. I should know, I live there. ---------- Post added at 19:51 ---------- Previous post was at 19:49 ---------- Those people who voted in favor, are heavily influenced by "milk and honey" promises the government makes. And you also have to have in mind that average people are much more pro Russian and anti EU than I am. ---------- Post added at 19:54 ---------- Previous post was at 19:51 ---------- That is completely true. Why is every president the same? Because the people that call shots are the same and those are the most influential businessmen.

Sometimes you speak as if you don't know nothing about this world. I just posted a whole page on how Serbians don't wan't EU, but they are forcibly being guided towards it. Small countries are not free to do anything on their own. The EU's mistake is that it thought it can treat Russia as if it was a small country like Serbia.

What a plot twist. If anyone said back in january that something like this is going to happen, I'd say they're nuts.

Boohoh. You lived so terribly. Suppressing nationalism is communist trait, and has nothing to do with Serbia. Serbs who would sing Serbian instead of Yugoslavian anthem would also get arrested and possibly shot. That kinda thing has nothing to do with nationality And may I remind you that the most high ranking official (bog i batina) in Yugoslavia up to 1980 was a Croat. And it is logical that government should consist of more Serbs than Croats, because Serbia has greater territory and population. But we're getting way offtopic here.

The mess in Ukraine started because of a tendency to join EU. Some people here don't know the policy of EU, or the implications that it might have on Ukraine so I was just here to elaborate. It is not irrelevant as the whole thing is about weather or not Ukraine will join EU and eventually NATO.

Example of pros and cons of joining EU. Please follow previous posts before posting. If anyone tells you that they were dominated in Yugoslavia, they lie. The bitterness comes from being screwed over and over again.

Here's the deal. The elections were held and people chose the government that was in opposition. The party that was in government till then had started the Euro integration process. The people chose the opposition but the EU journey still continued. In Serbia there is 20+ political partys and every coalition ever formed since 2004 has rushed into EU without officially asking anyone. About the club part. We are like the uncool kids and the EU (the cool guys) change the rules that apply to us every now and then so it would keep the illusion that we're getting somewhere when in fact they are just messing with us. If there are rules, fine. But they keep telling us do this and you're in, and when we do it (no matter how embarrassing or away from our interests) they say "ok, that's good, just one more thing", and there will always b just one more thing. Here are the polls http://www.tvojstav.com/results/0MWmJSlrC84cpmAQIqjH/referendum-o-eu-u-srbiji Sorry it's in pretty bad Serbian writing. ---------- Post added at 09:23 ---------- Previous post was at 09:11 ---------- I used Serbia just as an example, because it is something I know the best.

Normalization of relations with a neighbour would be fine, but they actualy took away Kosovo from us and then asked us to be cool about it. Does this seem like spiting into our faces to anyone else? ---------- Post added at 05:49 ---------- Previous post was at 05:44 ---------- They don't pour money they expand their market. No one pours money for no reason. It's a tactic where they destroyed our industry 20 years ago, and now we're paying them to rebuild it. ---------- Post added at 05:52 ---------- Previous post was at 05:49 ---------- That's fine, but you can't just add conditions on the fly. And no one voted on anything, we weren't asked if we wanted to join.
