  1. So, when I start up the games, the game gets horrible lag. The mouse moves fine, but any clickable buttons I move highligtes about 10-20 seconds after I moved my cursor over it, same for clicking it. I've been playing ARMA II/AO since 2011 on the free verision and this never happened. After ctrl+alt+del and/or alt+tabing out of the game and going back in a few times, that fixes it until I leave the game. But even if I do that, the game also crashes at most after 15 minutes of gameplay, making all three games unplayable This happened around the time I jumped back on ARMA AO after a few weeks of not playing and downloaded the update. It does not happen with any other game on my steam library, and here are my specs: Intel Core i5 3570K Gigabyte HD 7850 2GB GDDR5 2x4 GBCorsair Vengeance DDR3 1TB Hard Drive Here is what I have tried to do to fix the situation: Lowered the video settings all the way. Verified the game cache for both games Uninstalled and Re-installed ARMA II and ARMA II AO and ARMA III Disabled and re-enabled the video card.
