  1. Can you please explain where the problem is? The Russian translation fully reflects the English original and the NATO prefix is present there.

    Problem isn't associate with localization. Why we need this prefix? NATO Prefix with OPFOR(Enemy Side!)

     

    Yes, we know about the names being too long for the editor. If you hover the mouse above the name, it will be displayed fully. We yet have to evaluate whether we will do something about this.

    If Feedback Tracker is work, i create topic in our Russian forum about this problem and topic on feedback tracker and use vote for know the opinion of the Russian-speaking about this issue. But Tracker is down, and I post this issue here.

    Thinking about add this good solution.

No, the stadiametric rangefinder on the PSO isn't 100% accurate to the real thing, because I used the BI PSO as a base for it, and the rangefinder on that was made to suit ingame conditions rather than real-life ones. And from what I understand of you trying to say about the 1p29.... Technically true to a degree, but the rangefinder on the 1p29 also has it's own optical aperture, which is something you can't really simulate in Arma yet. I did my best to keep the intent of it.

    Regarding variable zeros/zoom: So though the PSO and 1p29 CAN range out to 1200m IRL, but because of the way zeroing works in everything but ACE2, having a variable zero negates the point of having gradiated chevrons for bullet drop specifically on the PSO, and makes the 1p29 much less predictable to correct. It also makes both scopes more functionally complex than intended for "standard infantry" and tailors it more for marksmen roles (even though the magnification isn't ideal, and technically the PSO IS a marksman optic), and that kind of goes against the spirit of their selection as Combat optics ingame.

    Basically the same reason ACOGs and such in Arma don't do the same. I guess the same could be said of the goshawk, but it's more of a special case, so I'll see to adding the zeroing.

    Regarding the Kobra- it doesn't have discrete zeroing because there's no point on an unmagnified collimator, with both 5.45 and 7.62x39 , the trajectory of the round isn't going to change drastically whether zeroed at 100 or 300, and beyond 400m is really outside the practical shooting range with a kobra anyway (both IRL and ingame)

    And use WavtoWss in ArmA3Tools/Audio/ for convert u audio-files

    In config i used wss files and path to it.


  7. I have no idea where that's being reported from, but it does have to do with the AKs. Honestly, I'm pretty close to the limit of my understanding trying to solve this, as it is what's in there should not be chimping out the engine like this. Might need to consult Dwarden to actually solve this.

    Because wrong path to sound file

    If u read you config from AK Pack you see

    Used \hlc_core\data\sounds\empty_assaultrifles.wav PATH

    Different Path

    I test in-game this sound and it so quiet. Need make it louder. :yay:

    UPD: I repaired dry sounds.

    If added Optic - goshawk to box and attach weapon we have 2 errors

    Warning Message: Cannot load texture a3\data\default_ti_ca.paa.
    Warning Message: No entry 'bin\config.bin/RscInGameUI.RscOptics_myOptics'.

    I think second error cause

    weaponInfoType = "RscOptics_myOptics";

    i edit this string

    weaponinfotype = "RscWeaponZeroing";

    and second error is down, but first error is remained

    but i can not for the life of me get it to go "click" on the bipods like other weapons. Do i need to put it in a certain order on the priority list??
