Good job BI! In my upcoming mission if the player doesnt realise that
he is too heavy to escape and evade properly he will be overran. One must figure out fast what he doesnt "need" and ditch it. Also mines.

Ah that I can work around. Many thanks. Ill put it in a script and sleep it until after EBS has initialised. ~5-10seconds. No one will be in range to see them suddenly turn on anyways :P

The guy in your squad doesnt have the force lights on (he is just there because I used groups instead of placing a single soldier.)
There are 3 Nato patrol groups
1 player + 1 ai = No lights
2 ai (about 10-15m away from player group)= lights but do not show
2ai on other end of runway(more than 500m away) = lights that DO show.

It was working all night last night then the patch came and I was thrust into the dark :D

Ok after some addon checking Ive found that after the latest patch EBS forces flash lights in its radius to not show/ turn off. I thought it was the debug but I turned it off and nothing changed.
To test airfield easiest
1. Switch time to night
2.Place 3 units down.
2a. 1player 1ai right next to player 1 ai atleast 550m away from player
2b. insert code
this addPrimaryWeaponItem "acc_flashlight"; this unassignItem "NVGoggles"; this removeItem "NVGoggles"; this enablegunlights "forceOn"
3. Observe

it's never worked 100% of the time for me. I think it might have something to do with the number of dynamic lightsbut I just checked, and it seems to still be working some of the time
I tried with 3 soldiers and on the night showcase. No flashlights.
scratch that it may be cba or one of the tpw's I think.

Did they fix that? I just tested - and can still peek to/from the buildings near the walls.Just tested again. Negative cant poke head through walls. Do you have todays update?

Surely once support for mods is added to steam workshop it won't be needed. Or am I missing something? :confused:Bolded is what is missing. It should be noted that AiA is an exception in what it does versus conventional mods.

Well, I've never experienced that.It appears to be relatively rare but Im hearing it more and more. I have experienced it twice. Earlier this week being the latest time. I havent let it redownload because my internet isnt the fastest and 1gb = 1-1.5hrs dl time. I simply dont have the time for all of that.
