  1. hi there, no I don't use a hotel's wlan. I have a mobile stick to connect. somehow I ran into the same problem at home lately. I ran a network sniffer to find the error. and after analyzing the protocol I find out that sometimes Port 2302 is not reachable. it's kinda weird, sometimes it says the server port 2302 is not reachable and sometimes it says the client port is not reachable. I turned my local firewall off but the same error occurs. I also checked the server side. the funny thing is, when I do a restart of my computer I can join the affected server occasionally.
  2. hi there, I have a question and maybe someone here can help me find a solution cuz I miss the forest for the trees;-) following situation at home I use a highspeed connection everything works fine, any server I wanna join works. but, I'm off for the week and have to use a connection stick, no problem so far. with the connection stick I can only join half the server! I find all server at the server list but when it comes to join them I run into an error. right after clicking "join" the window gonna be black and says "lauch game" after a couple sec. the window closes and a message appears "connection lost". It has to be a config problem on the server side. cuz it also happens on my own server. there's nothing at the log files not even that I tried to join the server. somehow it must deny my request any earlier. could a minping/battleye or any other server config cause this?
  3. hello there, it seems you try to run some BAF/PMC pbo's. get rid of the correct structure of your directories. search the forum for "spayker" he posted the server structure in here somewhere...I cannot link it for you "permission" you'll find it!:-) after that try to start your server with "./arma2oaserver start" if this finishes without any error messeges you can check your server with "ps aux" within the process list you should find something like "arma2oaserver watchdog" and "/home/yourArmaDir/server -server..." and all the things you'd described in your arma2oaserver file! if this is all done and works fine, you can start your arma and should find your server at the server list. if this doesn't works check your "log.port.txt" you may find something in there. at last I can say I had almost the same sort of errors you've been ran in and I finally fixed it that way
