    I've had to change the class names of the M4's as per the mod creators request. I've put together some variations myself, perhaps I've missed something. If anyone else has had this issue please speak up. I will be sending alwarren my source files so he can double check the classnames. I apologise for the issues. ---------- Post added at 14:51 ---------- Previous post was at 14:36 ---------- SASR Sabre 1 Squadron: Testing out tan vests, helmets and uniform shirts to further customise and personalise the individual throughout the AMP Sf units. We intend to create to design tiers for SF troops: #1 the ragtag war torn "in country for sometime" SF who will be completely individualised. #2 the freshies with cleaner gear, but still customised gear throughout the unit. For example below are some medic SF with Tan Helmets, rolled sleeves and tan shirts and vest; plus the boonie hat soldier with a amp vest and bag. The idea is to mix them up a little so each class has its own look and feel whilst being within the tier style guide. With the ragtag SF tier each soldier will have his own personalised equipment, down to their callsign on the vest, their own personal spray painted helmet and gun and possibly an old dpcu, dpdu shirt from earlier in their deployment, etc.

    Well actually the pockets are all different cuts, I have even displaced the folded areas that aren't cuts. There would be the chance some cuts link up... However the cuts are from the same camouflage and will play tricks on your eyes :) There are 3 pockets on those particular pants and its clear that they are not a continuation to the cuts beside them. I took the time to pull apart every section of the pants making a grand total of 22 separate pieces, all of which used different areas of the same camouflage texture, it wouldn't be a suprise if that rare occasion arised where 1 cut linked up with another; however we trumped that rarity. Please point out the missing pockets :S Cheers for pointing this issue out originally. The template I have created has reached such a detailed state; I am happy with where it is and will no longer make anymore changes. Now all that is left to do is implement these changes on the different types of camouflage :D

    Improved the detail of uniforms for all camo sets, added new patches and cloth texture. Screenshot 1 Screenshot 2 Screenshot 3 Screenshot 4 The next release will feature customised soldiers, ie, shirts, rolled sleeves etc.

Does anyone have any requested insignia for the DPDU, AMP (SOTG), AMPJW (fictional SOTG) and possibly the DPCU. For example I am considering the DPDU to be the 7 RAR Task Group, AMP to be 1st Commando, AMPJW to be SASR Sabre 1st Squadron. :) What do you think, prefer alternatives? Should the Rossarden Regulars adopt a modified version of one of these groups?

  11. Only because its the fastest transport chopper in the game ATM. The MRH90 would be nice though :) There is a back story for this too! <-- if you want to know classified information. Unfortunately on deployment the 2035 standard issue rifles were lost at sea due to unforeseen circumstances, leaving the M4's being brought to Stratis - meant for local militia to be used instead. I originally had Steyr Aug A3's but they had to many issues. There are a couple of modders out there working of the Austeyr F-90 which will be integrated into the ADF mod.

ADF-AMP v1.05 Release - Fixes and Weapon Change Download: ADF-AMP v1.05 ----------------------------------------------------------- The major change is that I have removed the Steyr's because the quality wasn't going to improve from where they were. There are some modders working on the F-90 Steyr's, so hopefully we can integrate those into the mod in the near future. Future plans include SASR, 2nd Commandos, armoured and air vehicles like the UH-60 and ASLAV. I intend to incorporate the new AMP texture as the "Desert/Woodland" Uniform and to use the current as the "Woodland/Jungle" Uniform. These textures will cross over to their vehicular counterparts. For the next release I intend to mix up the vests and helmets on the troops to add some personality to the soldiers; to the point their may be several variations of one vest with different scuff marks/tears and different voices for each class. Long term goals are to create an entire standalone Australian Defense Force Mod, and there are some new developments in the mix with someone other characters. Yeh I thought about replacing them, but instead I am going to go out into the world of imagination/hopeful realism and label them ADMP and AWMP (awwwwwwwmmmmpeh), for desert and woodland/jungle, due to the awmp camo suiting the island more. Hahaha, the music actually played in my head and it was glorious. You can be an Aussie, move now! I accept you haha. But seriously - come to us, ONE OF US! Wet dreams tomo, wet dreams.
  16. Finally got a better sample on some AMP textures, what do you guys think? Would you prefer I switch the entire uniform to this pattern or have both... This AMP pattern is 99% closer to authentic then the current.

Fixes: - Fixed recoil issue with AUG A3 rifles and pistols, problem was tested, please inform me if it occurs. Issues: - Env_land config error still present, only an annoyance.
  18. Hey Dar, it looks to be fixed, I completely removed cfgrecoils from the Aug A3's thanks to Scruffy's advice, seems they defaulted to A3 recoils. Hopefully this fixes the pistol issue as well. I will finish doing the vehicles today and release the fixed mod tonight. Cheers - Sbats.
  19. Thanks scuffy seems to have fixed the problem so far, going to test it a bit further. Greatly appreciated! I have begun to work on re-skinning vehicles and adding groups for the editor. ---------- Post added at 05:47 ---------- Previous post was at 05:12 ---------- In my next release I intend to release the Hunter, Ka-60 transport, AH-9 and Quad with the AMP camo. I will most likely release the DPDU skin as well with its corresponding vehicle re-skins. Here is an example of my ka-60 reskin wip.

  21. At the moment A2 has a better flight model than Arma 3, I find Arma 3's currently is close to BF3 than Arma 2. I personally find being able to barrel roll and backflip several times at really low altitudes concerning. Since OFP I have always seen the this community as one that begs for more realism. I'm aware Arma is focused on infantry combat, but this doesn't mean we should nerf flight because people find it difficult to learn and adapt. I for one would love to have TOH flight model, or something close to it - I enjoy being able to auto rotate my chopper to the ground and save my passengers. Hopefully they use a difficulty setting similar to TOH's where certain flight features can be turned off, for those of course who don't want the close to authentic experience :)

  25. AMP - SQUAD w/ STEYR's Bugs: - ca\data\env_land_co.paa error message - but not game breaking. So far I know its an Arma 2 file but I am unsure how to relink it to its A3 equivalent. - sometimes you will get an AUGA3 error - depending on how your game is feeling, i've had it once or twice but again, not game breaking and the weapons work fine. Includes: - Combat Medic - Team Leader - Grenadier - Rifleman AT - Rifleman TO be completed: With the help of Slatts I was able to get the config.cpp working fine, huge thanks to him. I will be working on getting medic patches for the Combat Medic, the only hiccup is getting it scripted in properly but I am learning semi-quickly :D Migration of Slatts F90!
