Hi everyone, I have a steam copy of arma 2 pmc and all of the rest of the DLC and to keep a long story short I got pissed at being hacked 24/7 and downloaded a program which I thought did nothing but after i ran it a few days later I got global banned.(i was F%^$ing stupid) That was nearly a year ago, since then i've been playing on a new copy of arma 2 + all DLC with keys I bought and downloaded from BIS store. I understand the hatred people have with hackers and I understand some people might think I hacked but all that happened was my key got stolen switched with banned ones and both got banned in the end. Now the reason I am here is that I have a predicament with steam, because I have banned arma 2 keys on steam, and I have new unbanned keys that I want to use because of this new patch which from what i've read is steam exclusive the only way I will be able to play is by using my keys on steam. which I've tried by "activating a product using steam" option but it wont accept the new keys cos I already have arma2 on there. so is there a way I can convert the keys into the hex format used in the registry, I understand that steam will switch them back every time I boot the game but if I block permissions to overwrite them then that should not be a problem. if anyone can help me then that's grand, if not then ill just wait on steam support to do something. thanks

i recently updated my gaming rig to a 3570k and a msi Z77A G45 motherboard from a 1055t and gigabyte 990fxa. I done a clean install of windows7 64bit and reinstalled all of my stuff the only anti virus i have is microsoft security essentials and moved data across etc however i tried running arma 2 co and it gave me some errors regarding file headers for pmc, so i decided it would be a good idea to reinstall arma totally. I downloaded all files via the sprocket downloader from the bohemia store and done all the install correctly updated to 1.60 and then 1.62 and then install latest beta patch. i try running arma 2 co with spirited machine launcher and no problems everything is fine no errors or missing files etc but when i go on any server, im running around in game but as soon as i shoot my gun the game will either freeze and kick me out to desktop with the program crashed window. i had to ask my friend what the error was and it said i got kicked by battle eye corrupt data #3. ive tried reinstalling with same results, i do not stream or use the modified x3daudio.dll its baffling me i have tried the battleeye.dll i have also tried re installing battle eye totally and no change still get kicked with corrupt data #3.

I have recently purchased arma x anniversary edition, i have downloaded all files and installed game and dlc. i use the spirited machine launcher to run the game in arma 2 co, and i receive an error message along the lines of "no entry 'bin\config.bin/cfgvehicles/m119.turncoef'." i have installed latest beta patch and am also getting no atoc or ppaa settings in video options. would really appreciate help regarding this.
