    ASR AI 3

    After a recent update on the steam version, the AI have begun throwing grenades like its going out of style. The easy fix is keep engagement range at 200m+ but thats a problem for taking towns or bases. Especially when my own units are also spamming their grenades and getting us all killed. Exact AI behaviour: -AI is brought out of passive behaviour by enemy contact -AI targets hostile and attempts to throw a grenade then seek cover -AI gets blown out of the door by the grenade they just threw in an enclosed room :/ Im not the only one who finds this hilarious but annoying right?

Its not easy to get me on the edge of my seat about something, but I can barely sit still waiting for this mod ^-^ Especially now that I can port forward and host, me and my friends simply cant wait! I know this is the second time I've come around just generally raising spirits if I can at all but I think you guys deserve it, Nobody else has ever attempted a Halo mod like this before and gotten far, Your carving your names in the rock of eternity with this! Bungie must be proud.
  5. Quick question from your resident gamer girl. We know the UNSC has front line role men and women in the ODST, Army, Marines and even Spartan program. Has anybody on the dev team here considered ambient integration with this mod http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?180099-FEMAL3-Alpha-1-Crude&highlight=Femal3 Its a promising mod that is far from dead, I really hope we can break Bohemia interactive's aparent sexist take on Arma lately. p.s: looking forward to the pelican screenshots ^-^ (im a bit of a pelican fan-girl)
  6. Been a while since there was any signs of life here. a whole 3 days O_O mod must be dead. Lol, No So whats the word? How is progress coming along with the textures and the pelican? Particularly the pelican, as a bit of a fan girl of it may I request that you guys do a short explainer on the Pelican in the EI mod?
  7. I didnt mean to imply this was finished Product, I know its WIP but the point of WIP display is for feedback no? All im meaning is that comparing the latest armour preview to Reach era soldiers who in HaloReach were actually the Army, The brown doesnt seem to fit the UNSC. I think a more urban white/grey is the UNSC's usual style or the olive drab of the ceramic armoured Halo3 era marines, Im only saying that the latest image is a little a-stray. Anyway, As for the modelling and how the rigging seems to be going, its looking very good.
  8. My own personal peev is that the armour seems a little too... single item. It feels like its all mashed together, the gear 'looks' great but its hard to tell a lot of it apart from its self. Example Its hard to tell where the armour ends and the BDU begins. This is just what I think of this particular image though, the ODST's are coming along fantastic and the vehicles are looking great, just worried the Army textures might be a little too blended together.
  9. I just had an idea for the Zeus guy to play with!! Would it be possible to write in the ability for zeus to call down ODST drop pods in the same manner as he/she summons airstrikes and ordinance? Example, Zeus spawns an ODST Dropzone > ODST pod spawns + Drops > Pod crashes down > ODST of random type is spawned infront of Pod Just thought of that whilst watching some of the ModDB vids. It would be a really awesome feature for Zeus to be able to call down ODST's as re-enforcements for the UNCS or if players are the innies, as obstacles.

    Helicopter Crash Script

    Helicopters dont always explode on impact, Horizontal velocity is the key to surviving a helicopter crash with sufficient space to touch down. Ive survived a number of crashes by either auto rotating down or simply coming in like a fixed wing, Of course the helicopter is trashed but at least im still kicking ^-^ I love the idea of this script if maybe one criticism would be extremely complex helicopters like the Ghost Hawk may be much more fragile than example its young sister the Blackhawk so it may still rupture and spill fuel into the engines causing an explosion. Overall though, Advice would be crash training and this script could be handy for those making campaigns. 8.5/10 :D

    It would be great to see this made compatable with Zeus, I do missions for friends with Zeus a lot and these are perfect for it except I cant spawn them :S

    LIFTER for ArmA 3

    Just a quick Bug report Lifter seems to compromise my ability to talk using the Tactical Radio mod when im flying from the 'Pilot' seat, its fine in the 'copilot' seats or other seats but in Pilot I cant broadcast on Long or Short range radio, I can only talk in local Event description: -Get in Pilot of (example) MH-63E -Press Short range radio button -Short Range radio starts to broadcast (same for long range) -Short range radio immediatly cuts out (same for long range) -Attempt to talk in non radio chat to those onboard -Others onboard can hear me fine but those out of the helicopter confirm that they do not recieve radio messages from me
  16. By Submarine Code, I mean the submarine's movment controls and physics, They seem appliable to a large ship flying in the air no? Anyway, Ill PM you my steam name if you need it.

If you need any help with the Lore or the logic behind anything in the Halo-universe, PM me, I've been very critical of the halo games since day one with HALO CE for xbox and custom edition for PC. I'd love to help out any way I can. Also as a quick side note for the Static frigate model you have planned, Arma hates 'huge' objects but if you get it to work, Maybe try adapting the submarine code to work in the air for it? Have the ability for mission editors to put an NPC in it that would fly it across the sky for the duration of the mission? Just a wild guess, Im half asleep atm. Anyway good luck and as the next person to say 'Dont Let This Die'

    AV_IndUs (US Army inspired units)

    Im really eager to see this mod succeed especially with the female soldiers. I really miss the old style of weapons and gear, I hope you guys pop out a new update soon, Im on the edge of my seat for this.
