  1. Personally I hope they go with the F-18E/F, it would be cool to see it added later down the line over them european fighters :v

    Full screen NV

Of course it is, you get unobstructed Night vision with this, so you have a greater ability to have better situational awareness.

    NoBlur

Is there any way you could also remove depth of field as well as the motion blur? I find both of them incredibly annoying but enjoy the other PP features. If you could do that I'd be your biggest fan <3

I believe this is an issue with the normal maps, the CAF mod units have the same problem and one of the modder for that project mentioned they were having difficulty sorting it out too.
  5. Mission makers can manually edit the AI's behaviour to be set to a high level so they're 'smart' but then specify that their accuracy be much lower, more in the reasonable range, in the init.sqf file. Reference these two BWiki pages. https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/setSkill For the overall skill, I'd recommend somewhere in the .70 - .85 range, and then use https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/setSkill_array, specifically using aimingAccuracy to put it somewhere in the .25 - .35 range. You'll find the AI performs much more favourably this way, being smart and aggressive while not shooting like they're all Match grade marksmen Edit: Oh, and as a user make sure that your difficulty settings DON'T have super AI on.
  6. This isn't my thread, don't mean to butt in or backseat mod or anything, but would this thread serve the modding community better if it was moved to the modding discussion subforum, where it would get more exposure by those who don't sift through this Alpha general discussion subforum? Its some great information that would be a shame to get missed by the people who it'd be relevant to.
  7. Honestly, they should've just removed aiming deadzone, especially since they removed the negative deceleration from the no deadzone mouse controls. If you use the aiming deadzone, you put yourself at a serious control disadvantage compared to someone who isn't. The aiming deadzone makes reacting quickly to close quarters contact, specifically, slower and less precise. Remember that if you turn it off and aim down your sights and press and hold your freelook key, your upper body will move independently of your lower body, for the few instances where the independent movement is useful. Just my .2 cents

  10. Posting to get this brought back to the front page, and to say thanks for working this out! Hopefully this gets more visibility.
