Srsly? All you need to do 1. look at mortar table, pick your basic elevation 2. Calculate difference between basic elevation and elevation for you target distance. ((basic table elevation - (elevation at basic distance +100meters))/100)*(basic table distance - real target distance)) 3. Calculate elevation change coused by height difference. ((table elevation change per 100m height)/100)*(height difference) Sum all and you are done, not that hard. degrees to mils convert = degrees*6400/360 - so hard.. Anyway after implementing dispersion to ace mortars, you can use bearing in degrees ( wont affect accuracy too much) And you can use table elevation and elevation change per 100m height only, without super hard calculations, again tnx to dispersion. distance - 4km, target - crossroad. http://plasmon.rghost.ru/private/41556586/5f488cb82d34672150429aee03cb5020/image.png

please guys, lets stop theorize, i took 60mm ingame on takistan, ruin few simple houses . It takes 2 direct hits with impact fuse, ~4 hits with proximity fuse to destroy building. To destroy massive building at aeroport 120mm mortar need more than 1hit. What about trenches? You can hit things in there using 82mm with direct hits +- few meters only, not possible now ... Ofcourse mission maker's always give artillery ammo and time to fire for several hours. And sure thing 150 ppl will wait 1-3 hours livetime until artillery stop shooting. With average mission play time about 2-3 hours, ppl wont wait 3 hours more, too tiresome. Its look like everyone who is using mortars constantly happy with current dispersion? Any advices where i can ask if this change is intended and will stay for sure?

or i can take it down by hitting house 2 times with 60mm mortar, at least i could recently..

you can count this as hit, sir if place is plain(no rocks, same height) and infantry standing there all over the place. Also good chances, that first hit wont be lethal, second hit wont kill poorman becouse he will be already unconscious and shrapnel will fly above him if he is lucky. What if you need to take down a house? Small place (less than 30m radius) with walls? trench? immobilize ground wheel vehicles? bunker? again i could hit all those targets, now all i can do is boo-boo infantry. is this intended change? will dispersion remain like that ? about mortar shifting - if gunner sits in mortar and his pairman trying to shift mortar, mortar rotates veeeeeeeery slowly, its easier for gunner to leave mortar and shift mortar by himself. yea, they do.

at range 2000 meters dispersion was about 50-80 meters, i cant hit anything now, even if target in my mortar's sight =( and now there is no reason to calculate elevation precisyly, you can round to hundreds 'range to target' and just use table elevation, anyway you'll hit "somewhere" close to target =(

Hello, what happened to mortar's accuracy? it was super accurate(ex. i could hit house at 400-4000m range, and next shell will hit same house), now mortar's have dispersion about +-70 meters.. Is it intended change? Any clues?
