  1. Hello,

I'm wrapping up the training map of my upcoming unit, and I'm stuck on making the popup targets work. Now, I'm fairly new to scripting (and any advanced editor things) so that's an issue. I've searched the forums and interwebs to find a solution, but so far nothing works (or I'm doing something very wrong).

I'd like to have 3 ways:

    - A rifle range where the targets start up, go down and stay down when shot until you have hit every target, then they all go back up automatically.

    - On the same range, the targets pop up randomly when you initiate through a laptop. Also, I would like to have a counter on the screen where we can keep track of how many targets are hit. There should be 30 random pop ups per initiation.

    - On our CQB complex, the targets all start up, go down and stay down when shot untill we once again reset the targets. Ideally, the instructors can reset these targets using the action menu.

Can anyone help me out with this? :)

  2. I have this annoying problem with MCC. I'm building a base for my upcoming unit, and I like to build things using Zeus and MCC. But when I place modules or write init lines for placed units/objects using the ArmA editor, then preview it, place some more objects with Zeus/MCC and save as sqm, all the modules and init lines are gone when I load the mission using the editor. This means that with every update of the map I have to rewrite all the init lines and place the modules all over again.

Is it meant to do that? Is there a way to maintain these modules and init lines?

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I'm not going to read 326 pages :D

  3. I'm belgian and I really hoped that there would be belgian units like some in arma2, but nothing in arma3. Luck that I could ask to a member to do it. I thank him a lot and now I could retexture and make them better. To sad that belgian were not present in ArmA a lot. Fn Herstal is a lot present in armies, but never belgian...

Well, it was my little tribute to them.

I'm a Belgian aswell and I really like the work you've put into this! Finally our little country is represented in this game :)

The Belgian army also uses the Dingo, Pandur LAV and the Lynx. Would it be possible to add those aswell? I have some pictures of those vehicles from the Military Parade.

since there is no fn fnc model available [...] a black retexture would make it close to the real thing.

a black retexture of the f2000 would also add to the immersion, i would suggest making the f2000 and scar sfg only and the AK 5 infantry, but that is just me.

if it would ever be possible to add a belgian uniform with the full green colored t shirt.

I second this. The FNC isn't in a decent working form so a retextured AK5 would be ok. I'm not really agreeing with making the F2000 SF only as it's also used by the regular army (though not in big numbers). SCARs are only used by the SFG and Federal Police.

I wasn't able to see it clearly on the screenshots, but do the SFG have the correct insignia on their shoulders and berets?

And last but not least, is it possible to implent the FN SLP shotgun and the FN Five-seveN? I would love to see those in-game!

Anyways, I really like your work so far, keep it up! :D

  4. Heya,

I'm a 19 years old Belgian ArmA II player who is looking for a fun but serious squad to join :)

I've played quite some ArmA II (and OA) SP, but I want more than just that. That's why I'm looking for a fun but serious squad to be part of. I'm pretty experienced with ArmA II's engine and how to play this game on a decent level. The role that suits me best is just a standard rifleman in a well organised squad.

I have Teamspeak installed on my PC, got a working headset and I really want to play ArmA II the way it should be played, as a team.

I only have played the MP a short amount of time, as I quickly realised that playing as a squad is pretty important :p

I'd really like to join a serious squad, you can send me a PM here, through Skype (M0n3yBE) or via Steam (M0n3y93).

    Greets, M0n3y.
