  1. Hey Guys, I have a problem with my addon builder.. When I create a new lod it does not create a yellow highlight of the model in lod 1... Heres what I mean by that This is my LOD 1 http://prntscr.com/5a82oe I made a 2nd lod and put it as Geometry http://prntscr.com/5a83e5 And What I mean by the yellow highlighted part of the model. Red marking would be me... http://prntscr.com/5a83wi If anyone has any idea on how to fix this ASAP id appreciate it.

    Addon BUilder LOD

    I was able to get it working for a while. However I turned off oxygen and restarted my computer and ever since it has not been able to reappear again.... Ive went into options and reselected the prefrence multiple times
  3. Hey guys I was wondering where I can find the arma 3 sample models/cargo models I dont know what they are called...   4. Hey guys, I need help currently trying to get a mission to read instantly on star tup of the arma3server.exe. So i am trying to achieve the following. 16:44:49 Dedicated host created. 16:44:56 BattlEye Server: Initialized (v1.190) 16:44:56 Host identity created. 16:44:56 Game Port: 2302, Steam Query Port: 2303 16:44:56 Mission Read I've had it before but my server box changed operating systems so I lost everything, If anyone could help id appreciate it.   5. Hey guys, I am working on a mission and im trying to set npc positions in a building.. I was wondering if there is an easier/quicker method to do this without using the 2d editor that arma 3 has. I tried setting the NPC position via mission.sqm but no luck. If anyone can explain/show/tell me how to do this it would bem uch appreciated

  7. Hey guys, I have a question... I have recently used the arma 3 GUI editor, and I exported and followed all that i needed to https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/User_Interface_Editor_%28Arma_2%29 but is it possible to reload the dialog after i exported it because I need to make some changes, and improve the dialog as it isn't quite what I was looking for. This might seem like a noob question I know I know. But, I've tried lurking around the Bi forums to look for the answer...

    Im using the source files from applegate for the roads side walks etc, that were released on the bi forums. Than I am using some buildings made by me like a tow shop and stuff... I am making the map for a3 that is correct as I am thinking/hoping its the same as the arma 2 manuals which is what im going off of.

    Arma 3 Tutorial Request Thread

    A light animation tutorial for vehicles? I noticed I could not find any and the one off of OFPEC does not specify (Atleast I tried looking for) anything about lights and how to make them light up themself.
  13. Hey guys! I got another problem once again :).. Its with PhysX and my car is driving and it starts flipping when I turn... Here is my Config http://pastebin.com/EyaW5GSf for the physX if someone could help me fix why it keeps flipping when im turning it would be appreciated. I have tried setting the weight of the car to over 1500 and nothing seems to work.
  14. *FIX* It was a problem with my geometry. I went in and redid it all and it seems to drive around just fine now! Thanks everyone for your help!:) But now I have another problem... My car is leaning to one side.. I redid all land contact points using shift + click making sure they were all the same length/center and it still wants to lean to one side? Any help please?
  15. Evening Ladies and Gents, I am working on a model as it his very high in points/faces and I have tried lowering it using proxys.. But, When I have I am using the proxy in Oxygen it shows up. However when I have the model in game.. The interior proxy does not show up! Can someone explain to me why this might be happening? I can post pictures if needed.

    Hey guys, I have made a car model using oxygen and i put in a config.cpp and I cant seem to load the model in game it gives me an error "No geometry and no visual shape" in the arma 3 RPT. This is a config that I grabbed from an old arma 2 model. http://pastebin.com/1NqU3v3F. I can take pictures of the oxygen 2 model if needed. I have made a geolod, a land contact lod, a memory lod, and both cargo lods for driver and passenger.

    Cannot load model

    I left it in .p3d format from saving it. I didnt export it or anything. I am making a addon pack so that is why there is mc_cars than the mc_california. I didn't edit the sound engine yet because I haven't found the right sound yet to edit the cars. Would the sound path make a differnece? http://tinypic.com/r/slslk7/5 here is the geo lod. I just used a sample model geo lod because I unfortunately cant figure out how to make a geo lod. Lol. And this config is grabbed from an arma 2 model so I think that might also be the reason. But i'm not sure because im an amateur at modelling.
  19. Hey guys, For some reason my textures are really really blury on the vehicle models I have made in oxygen 2. http://i39.tinypic.com/2yunbkw.jpg (163 kB) as shown in the picture. You cant even read what the logo is on the seats both in game and in oxygen. Is this because of rvmat? Do rvmats make interior textures higher quality? If so do i just copy the original interior texture and just save it as an rvmat will that work? If anyone could help me out here I will appreciate it very much.

Can somebody help me out with this script I have for mining. http://pastebin.com/73ebH701 Its mines and does the animations with the correct tool and stuff but it does not give you the Item "Wood" or Item "Gold" etc. I hinted on line 61 and it said "wood" so it is trying to give me wood but Its not any one got any ideas?
