I know there is a post on the same argument, but the solution shown there does not work with my PC. So. I tried to copy the (mission name).pbo from "C:\Program Files (x86)\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2 Operation Arrowhead" (the main game directory) into "C:\Users\username\Documents\ArmA 2\missions" folder. But they do not show up in the editor. Aaaaand that's about all I can think of, considering that the various tools to compress\decompress the .pbo don't work for me. ( a command window pops up briefly and dies away immediately ) Thanks for the help... PS Maybe of some interest: I had a few missions made by myself, they were in the editor; recently, for no reason I can foresee, all these missions disappeared from the editor, that is now empty. Any idea?

Of course. To simplify the matter; WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE TO MODIFY WEAPON STATS ? ( considered that the ways I'm used to do not work with Arma2OA? ) And, considered the vast choice of .pbo editors-openers-extractors-viewers-makers: which one is the most viable to reach the obj? Thanks for the attention- in the meantime, I'll keep searching about this really elementary yet elusive task... ;)

Ah yeah, it should. I keep thinking it. ---------- Post added at 18:58 ---------- Previous post was at 18:39 ---------- ...and nothing. BinPBO keeps flashing a DOS screen and disappearing. PBOmanager actually opens the .pbo, and the config.bin inside of it, but doesn't save the changes I type; this is not a problem, I can save changes otherwise; but when I do, ArmA says that the file I've just saved doesn't exist anymore! ( Even if I do not make actual changes; it only takes that I SAVE the file. Save it, and BAM!, the game can't find it. And the extension is the same, I checked.) Don't know if I am explaining it clearly enough- it's frustrating, expecially considered I have never had these problems with OFP...

Hello. Trying a very basic tweak on a weapon, ( increase hit value of the .50 ball ), but i'm stuck at the beginning, because: - Un PBO -De PBO -PBO manager -Eliteness -PBOextract and, yes, not even BI Tools 2 seem to work on my machine: some of them flash a DOS window and disappear, some open the .PBOs and even the config.bin of the ammo file BUT when the tweak is done, apparently hide or corrupt the file, so that ARMA2 OA becomes unable to find it anymore. Spent last two nights almost entirely searching here and everywhere- found many different problems around, but not mine. As per the title, i'm on Win7. Help needed and appreciated! K
