I really like the idea of a money system for a mission - Or maybe something simpler like for every 10 units you kill you get access to a new weapon? You could change it up a bit by having to bomb a few objectives to gain access to a vehicle and so on. I'm just starting to use the editing tools myself so I can't offer any advice, but its a really cool idea, I'd also be interested to know if this sort of thing is possible!

Ah yeah that makes sense, since my enemies on this map are independent. Do you know of a way I can easily change them to OPFOR or something? I'd have to completely restart placing all my units again otherwise :( Thanks for the answer, I was tearing my hair out trying to work this out! EDIT - Still won't work, I started a new mission and threw down a crate next to a BLUFOR (me) and an OPFOR (ai) and the crate still won't open... EDIT 2 - Finally got it to work - I installed a new map and tried it on there and it worked - Really not sure at all why is suddenly chose to work, but there you go!

Hi, I've been searching for a solution to this problem for ages and can't seem to get around it. None of the ammo crates or weapon racks will open, there is no gear action available and pressing G near one will not work either. Also, some of the bodies of guys I kill in the preview will not give me a gear action either, but others will (even though they are the same copy/pasted unit). Things I've tried: 1- Removing all mods/scripts 2- Waiting a couple of minutes 3 - Clearing the crates and adding weapons manually Any help on this would be really appreciated!

Hi, I'm making a simple mission using the 3d editor, and it was working fine earlier until suddenly when I preview, its ignoring all my initialization expressions that I gave to my units, like to remove the weapons and add a pistol for example. All the lines are still there and look fine to me, but now its not working and they all have full gear. All I changed between when it was working til now is the weather, I just made it slightly later. Any help on this would be really appreciated, its really annoying me why this has suddenly happened!
