How sprinting with a pistol is done is perfect. It should be the same when jogging. Holding the gun downwards simply makes more sense than holding it in front of you like that. It may increase your reaction time when running into unexpected enemies, but that's what the combat jog is for IMO. While jogging the gun should be held downwards and then when C is pressed it should be the same combat jog as it is now. At least have the character hold the gun down when lowering his weapon. Also, walking with the pistol lowered looks rather ridiculous lol. While walking and lowered the pistol should just be held in one hand.

Problem with launching Arma II
LiquidSnake replied to LiquidSnake's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - TROUBLESHOOTING
Thanks, it works again! I was going to delete my Arma2 profile and saw an "addons" folder there, so the mod was stored both in the main directory AND my profile data. I deleted it and it works now. -
Problem with launching Arma II
LiquidSnake replied to LiquidSnake's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - TROUBLESHOOTING
Nobody? :( -
I installed a mod recently and found out it was preventing my game from firing up, so I deleted it. OA could launch again and I thought it was fixed. However, Arma II still won't start and acts as if the mod is still in the directory. The mod's name is "SWM_camofaces", I install my mods in the OA directory (not in the Arma II one). Tried removing mods altogether, tried disabling all mods, even tried reinstalling Arma II, but nothing seems to work. If it helps, it's the Steam version (both Arma II and OA).

Problem with launching Arma II after installing a mod

Didn't work, but thanks for replaying anyway. I hope there are more answers to come, but in the meantime I'll be trying to figure it out myself. -
Problem with launching Arma II after installing a mod
LiquidSnake posted a topic in ARMA 2 & OA - ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION
I've recently installed a mod (I already have lots of them, so I know how to do it correctly), but after I activated it in the menu and restarted Arma II it showed me an error box, saying there's something wrong with the mod (not that it needs another mod or anything). I decided to remove the mod from the directory, but the same error box appeared and again Arma failed to initiate. Now I'm trying to find out how to deactivate a mod (or perhaps all mods) without having to launch Arma first. I've tried the properties, but without luck. Also, if it changes anything, I own the Steam version of Arma II: CO. -

Can I use SP faces on multiplayer (Drake, Cooper, etc.)?

Been trying to get this to work, but no success as of now. Does any of you know the codes for the faces of special characters? -
Question about special faces
LiquidSnake replied to LiquidSnake's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Thanks, I guess I'll try their nameswith _head behind it. EDIT: seems like it doesn't work, neither do the codes you gave. -
I already know how this works (finding the codes and typing them in your account document), but what I've been searching for for a while now are the codes for special characters from the singleplayer. Is it possible to use these as face for my account?
