How's the beta testing going?

Just saying, I/we didn't mean to darken the mood of this thread. Sorry guys.

I apologize, I've read Luttrell's book, seen the videos, and I know what they all went through in those 2-3 days of hell. I pay homage to them where ever I can. They're true heroes in my book and I apologize again for my offence.

Man, this morning has been quite a big day for this thread. Imagine what it will be like a day before release! ;)

I'd never seen that. The aiming animation is WAY more fluid than BI's; who's models don't move what so ever.

Good point. Not having to find ropes in a random box might be a benefit. Batteries are also an interesting concept after all the discussion we've had about mini guns and their power supplies.

Maybe they're going to be usable as custom ammo boxes? For mission makers to fill with... whatever; or in like domination, you can load ammo boxes. Maybe they're a physical representation of those? Either way, they seem like a cool addition, for whatever they're used for. edit: or maybe I'm missing what Scarecrow is talking about. Do you have to load/unload the M134's from/to the ammo boxes?

So I have a little "realism query." Will there be any way to fast rope from the right front door? I know they don't do it often, but it's a little something cool. I can attest to that. I'll be getting into the 160th SOAR right around when this will (hopefully) be released. This looks wonderful. Can't wait.

I am really looking forward to this. Also I know you are trying to make this perfect before you release it but v1 is never perfect. Keep that in mind. =P
