All i see in this entire thread are speculations, without any facts whatsoever. And again:

Objects quality low: http://i.imgur.com/Yq1QeOt.jpg Objects quality ultra: http://i.imgur.com/hW9URAm.jpg This is with 600m object draw distance, with 2km object draw distance there was 3-4 fps gain. You can ignore the high fps, it was run on SP to make sure server is not restricting this values to change. (also FYI most multiplayer servers are not allowing to change object/terrain details or draw distance so it has no effect on MP where the real problem is)
-
Did you even read my post? I'm CPU bottlenecked to the point where i have to use 1km view distance/500m obj. distance to get any decent fps so trust me i did good research on CPU bottlenecking settings, and setting Terrain Quality to ultra had 0 impact on performance except increased VRAM usage. Go figure. For me it halves fps in vehicles, with interior view.
-
FYI Terrain Quality is GPU dependant, i dont think it uses any CPU at all. I'm completely CPU bottlenecked (to the point where i have to use 1km view distance/500m object distance), and changing this setting had 0 impact on my performance, it just increased GPU usage and GPU VRAM usage. (basically it improves terrain texture) Dynamic Lights - Ultra (lighting quality, can't see differences if on low) You will see difference at night PiP (Picture in Picture)- Ultra (quality of car mirrors, no fps change to me, cpu/gpu dependent?) Now get into vehicle, you will notice difference trust me

Will-my-pc-run-Arma3? What cpu/gpu to get? What settings? What system specifications?

+1 for Battlenet, i like the idea to be in touch with my friends in SC II / Diablo 3. :pc: -
Amazing vocals :) Is this guy Czech? It's just too damn funny. ;)

Actually it might be the server issue, there are no proper dedicated servers yet so they are kinda unstable and crashing alot. (especially on large populated Wasteland servers)

connect to friend playing server through Steam please

And same here, i hope we wont need to use GameSpy "features" no matter how they can be improved from what we see now, wont beat Steam integration and simplicity in this matter anyway. -
ARMA3 Alpha Disappeared from Steam Library

Probably those keys were purchased with credit cards where the card-holder initiated a “charge-back.†A charge-back is a consumer protection mechanism offered by payment companies such as Visa, allowing a card-holder to dispute a charge on their credit card statement. This means Steam/BIS never received payment for the game. It seems likely that they were originally obtained from BI store. (since you cannot buy Keys from Steam) Then those keys are being sold through a handful of questionable sites to people using legitimate credit cards. (like the one you mentioned earlier, and it also explains why such keys are cheaper) The owner of the stolen credit card ultimately disputes the charge and BIS is losing sales. Just contact the site you purchased it from for a full refund, and buy only directly from BI Store or Steam. -

You just answered yourself why the game disappeared from your Steam library, the only "legit" places where you can buy Arma 3 right now is Steam and BI Store. All you can do now is to contact them for money return. (or initiate credit card chargeback if you are able to) -
Can we move on now?

Where have you bought it? -
CPU Thermal Paste could be your troubles on Low FPS numbers or "lagging"
k3lt replied to rehtus777's topic in ARMA 3 - TROUBLESHOOTING
It would burn but only in theory, in practice after reaching about 66-67C (sometimes even less) CPU would just shutdown (BSOD) to prevent hardware damage. -

Seriously you just lost any credibility, you're free to leave this thread. I'd guess you're affiliated with BattleEye since by looking at your post history you're basically praising & defending them 24/h, now try to play DayZ in public server with BE anticheat - have fun.. NOT. This made me laugh hysterically, first of all cdkey abuse/stealing wont be issue anymore because of Steam, and BE has nothing to do with it. You're claiming that you will be so effective and make them cry.. interesting, so any reason why pretty much every public DayZ (Arma 2) server is swarmed with hackers and basically rendered it unplayable unless it's private server with password protection? ;) -

Except CPU temp in game is nearly same as in Windows when idling... (in Windows i'm getting 40-41C, in Arma 45-46C) Basically it shows how A3 utilizes CPU. (or actually not utilizing it, except 1 core) -

This is disturbing... :butbut:

I would if they actually acknowledged this issue in SITREP, "known issues list" or simply reply on feedback tracker http://feedback.arma3.com/view.php?id=716&nbn=138#bugnotes

Why buy A3 just so you could go online and ruin everyone's experience?
k3lt replied to lNTRUDER's topic in ARMA 3 - MULTIPLAYER
If you didn't noticed A3 is using Gamespy right now, if Steamworks was implemented from the very beggining there would be no such issue. And as far as i understand there is none Steamworks integration right now, except fact the game is being distributed by Steam content servers. -

I had cores unparked since the Alpha beggining, so i dont know what does it change but the performance is still bad.
-
Restart Steam.
-
Why are you still using Gamespy for mp? Use Steamworks please...
k3lt replied to ErcanKazaz's topic in ARMA 3 - MULTIPLAYER
Steamworks does support LAN.
