RT, I would obviously prefer that but I live in West Africa and unfortunately there are no shops that stock it.

I have been playing fps games for many a year and have been an avid flight simmer for just as long but for some strange reason I never heard of Arma2 until some guys on a game forum began playing DayZ recently. I'm thinking that there is not enough marketing of this amazing product or the above would not be so. Yesterday I was talking to some flight simmers about Arma2 (they had never heard of it either) and when they looked at it they fell in love as it is more of a sim than a game. Spread the word and they will come.

Thanks metalcraze for the prompt and informative response. I will purchase from BIS for the reason you stated as why not support the devs! So I take it that multiplayer does not need Steam? Are there lots of non Steam servers? If that is so then excellent! Cheers IceRain

Hi, Firstly, played the demo and what an amazing game/sim! I cannot believe that I did not know that it existed! Now I am ready to purchase but I have a few questions? If one of you good people would be so kind as to answer, I'd appreciate it. 1. Is there any difference if I buy from Steam or Bohemia? Will it affect where and how I can play online? 2. I see the download is huge, I take it that wherever I get it they have some kind of accelerated download process? 3. As I am on a mac (I know, I know) I'll be running it on my Bootcamp partition. Will I get an iso or something when I buy that I can transfer to my Windows partition?? Thanks IceRain
