    I completely understand analog controls, but had no idea I can have a 'console type controller', a joystick for flying and the mouse and key board all hooked up at the same time and can be used on the fly while in game? I am correctly assuming this? I am new to PC gaming. And it is difficult to drive (not impossible, use Q in place of W and steering is a lot easier with A/S) and I can't fly to save my life even in the tutorial.

    Either way, I think it might be good for the ARMA community anyhow. Let's be frank, DayZ fits perfectly for the ARMA engine, and thus makes it shine for new players. If even a portion of all these new players would get into regular ARMA gameplay, it would be great for our community. I hope with all of my body that ARMA III will be a top seller. Even better, I hope it will steal a chunk of Battlefield and Cod costumers, so that the industry had to pay attention. We need more developers making good games, Bohemia is pretty much alone in that aspect.

    I am a new player to ArmA, in fact I am downloading it now after playing the demo. I do not plan to play DayZ at all. Zombies are cool and such, however, I don't believe they belong in a game like this. You can find me on steam under Onjin_Dog. I do need to practice, so I will be doing campaign first after tutorials.

    I really hope so zamani532. I downloaded the Demo today to check this game out. I am definitely buying asap. If you would like to play, I'm down. However, be forewarned I am a ArmA noob so green it's blinding. But I am willing to learn and do listen to orders.

    I am relatively new to PC gaming, finally have PC that can handle games with ease. I have played a bit of AA3, however, I grew tired of it quickly. Not the large scale I was looking for. And after 3 hours of ArmA, this game blows AA series out of the water.

    Military Tact FPS I have loved over the years, console gaming:

    Ghost Recon series (original up to GR2, GRAW ruined the series for me)

    Full Spectrum Warrior

    MAG (PS3 only)
