    Indeed every game I have tried to play has ended with the barque either getting stuck under an island or even out in open sea. I think this bug needs to be fixed before the beta can be evaluated properly.

    I had the same problem, it seems the Barque has difficulty distinguishing between land and see when skirting some islands and becomes stuck.
