I just purchased ARMA 2 & Operation Arrowhead but can't play them because I keep getting this error message every time I start the game. I have a Lenovo W520 with a Quadro 2000 and Optimus. After looking into this it appears this problem is 99.9% likely to be caused by the Intel video not supporting Shader Model whatever and the NVIDIA card not turning itself on when the game starts. I have added ARMA 2 as a custom Program Setting in the NVIDIA Control Panel but the Quadro doesn't seem to get a chance to turn on before this stupid error message appears. Any help would be greatly appreciated. It appears at this point I've wasted $50 on a game I won't be able to play since this is my only PC. Kevin Update: I'm running driver 296.88 and the Troubleshooting tab of Display Settings is not available so I can't set Hardware Acceleration to Full. dxdiag shows DirectDraw Acceleration as Not Available but this makes sense since it is only seeing the Intel HD Graphics. I HATE OPTIMUS
