    im still getting 1-4 fps at the prison and i get a constant 50-60 fps everywhere else. it seems to be the center of the prison thats causing fps drops

    Im still having issues with setting params with both versions, food and water worked in the 1.3 test but logistics wouldnt let me move things. and in tonics fix i could move things again but food and drink stopped working. other then that it seems to work fine

    this map it incredible for missions and even better for zombies. also i get a very low FPS by the center of isle shebenik, other then that its 70 fps everywhere else. i usually never get lag so 3 fps while looking into the prison caught my interest

    i see why he hasn't added food or drink yet, there's very few ways to make it work without making people download new things. thus far the only solution ive found is to add food and drink to items via addaction. but then its just for those items (that you cant pick up and place into inventory). its a basic solution but its better then nothing at all. also i was wondering if the undead mod is compatible with this, i would love to have the infection system and to be able to set the zombies or spawns where ever i like.(not to mention the variation of slow and fast zombies would make things a little more interesting)

    i would love to use this or some variation of this for my zombie mod (went from dayz to making a new zombie mod similar to dayz in terms of survival) im really tired of deserts, jungles, and chernarus in general. you map has a certain beauty aspect to it that i havnt seen in a map yet. only things i wish i could do would be to add more enter able buildings where non enter able ones are. and add a few larger buildings to one or 2 of the cities. but thats just for loot reasons and exploring towns. other then that this map is utterly perfect for anything, i have used it for mission and mp before i knew dayz existed.

    i run a small non-dedi server and all i get every so often is some error ingame saying a zombie spawn SQF stopped working, yet the zombies keep spawning so im not sure what stoped working. also ammo boxes appear in towns regardless of what i set the params too

    runs good other then what heklos stated. i haven't gotten the remove all items error yet, but i think it shows they have items because they have radios,maps,watch,etc... so it says they have gear but don't its just the usual stuff, also after a while of killing zeds the bodies stay as well and it lags out after so many bodies pile up. also hard time finding gear (in vehicles) but that may just be because im not looking hard enough.

    not to be more like dayz, but the survival aspect of it, thats what i love personaly. if i wanted to just kill some zombies id go play one of the many other zombie games out there. very few games zombie or other take on a survival aspect of things.

    Food,Drink,save feature, and probably hunting somehow. i cant really think of any other things that could make this any better. but i do have a suggestion if you do incorporate the above features you could make a survival gamemode for it and make a second gamemode more fast paced lacking the need for food and drink. I see you've basically already started the latter idea. im trying to figure out how i could put a food and drink script into it and if i figure out how ill let you know, Ive been playing solo since Ive been messing around with scripts testing things to see whats possible. for the most part im trying to make it so i can sneak past the zombies similar to dayz so you could basicly hold up in a building somewhere as a base till you ran outta food, water, and med supplies. i cant even play dayz anymore its the same boring thing every time i get on, yours is random and obviously has quite a few extra perks, but not many games or mods out there really take that survival aspect into consideration even tho that would be one of the most important aspects of any post apocalyptic or end world scenario. since dayz is going stand alone anyways there needs to be some mods that take its place in terms of gameplay.

    this would make an awesome map for zombies, great wilderness exploration. any idea if its compatible with dayz or not, i mean its not like it cant be tweaked to do so. i would really like your approval to use this island for such a thing.

    so i have a question for craig , me and my friends run a very custom dayz server, i was wondering if its possible to use some of these scripts in the server. our goal is to make it the most unique server around, we are almost done getting podagorsk to work with it. the reason im asking is your game mode runs off of scripts already in game so we wont need to require people to download anything extra. im asking first before i even look into the files and scripts u use. our goal is to make our server the ultimate zombie roleplay server thats open to the public (no passwords or lock) we already have several anti hacks in place (screw battle eye, we got the people who make the hacks make us a custom anti hack for the server and it updates when they update there hacks). i love how your gamemode generates random bases and such and would make the server even more unique

    when i have survivors on it para drops some soldiers near by, they then sprint to one of the air ports and take off in a cj-100 plane. they will shoot zombies near them but they are kinda stupid and throw grenades allover ussaly killing there team mates,themselves and you if you get too close. and when it comes to the save feature, are you going to use an SQL database kinda similar to dayz or another method entirely. i also thought of an interesting idea of adding the basic form of the rifle and then make it possible to find different scopes and attachments for it so you kinda have to build up your wep slowly.

    hello craig ive been messing around with this for a lil while (the last 2 months or so) and i have a server running over the weekends that im attempting to make into somewhat of a role play server, we use the utes map (even tho re spawn dosnt work it work best in terms of lag). well ive ran into an issue while editing the map (placing certain buildings and a heli and such) that it kinda breaks the zombie spawns. a good deal of the time when i start a server no zombies will spawn ( i also noticed it isnt ever the time i set when it does this too) but it says it all loaded up via the debug mode. i think its either the amount of stuff i placed in the map or something more specific, is there anything i could have done to mess it up? if i load up arma 2 and go strait for multiplayer and load up the game it works fine the first time but after i restart it it bugs out( or if i go from editing the map to multiplayer it dosnt work either) hopefully someone may know what i did wrong and i hope its a simple fix i can handle
